Seb's POV

Switzerland - December 2020

'Hannah?' He called when he walked into the entrance hall, finding the house unusually quiet that close to Christmas as the cheesy Christmas songs didn't boom through the roof. 'Hannah?' He repeated, a frown appearing on his features after he dropped his items into a closet, moving further in a house, making his way to their lounge where their grand Christmas tree was standing, lighten up to cheer the famous Christmas spirit. He shook his head when he saw the massive pile of packages tugged neatly under the tree.

He turned around when he heard steps echoing closer before he saw his tired-looking wife entering the room, rubbing her eyes and yawning. 'You alright, love?' He asked, concerned when he kissed her plumbed, delicious lips that curved up of his affection. 'The bed was just so comfy that I fell asleep for a bit.' She murmured absently, stepping into his arms, snuggling tightly against his chest. He tugged his head against hers, breathing in her perfume.

Her stomach grumbled, making him chuckle. 'Have you eaten today?' A sheepish look found its way to her features when she shot a defensive look on her face. 'I have been busy.' She commented vaguely, stepping out of his embrace before turning her feet towards the direction she had come from. He scooped her back to his arms, pressing his chest to her back. 'I'll cook. You rest. Pasta okay?' He murmured before kissing her quickly to her cheek.

If he cooked, he always cooked pasta as it was one of the few dishes he managed to make without burning it. Usually, Hannah hovered around to ensure her lovely kitchen would remain in one piece, but that day, she was nowhere to be found. He had the kitchen all by himself. His concern was growing more restless as Hannah hadn't been absence like that before.

He set the plates on the kitchen bar before strolling through the ground floor, attempting to spot Hannah before he made it to the second floor and made his way to the master bedroom. He saw Hannah's figure laying on the bed in the dimmed light. He sat at the edge of the bed, kissing her temple before he murmured. 'Liebe, the food is ready. Hannah made groggy noises before her sleepy figure sat up, directing her hazy eyes to him. 'Food?' He flashed a smile when he slid his hand against her cheek. 'Shall we?'

They strolled hand in hand back to the kitchen where the food had been waiting for them. Seb was distracted during dinner when he shot furrowed looks towards his wife. They ate in comfortable silence. 'So would you like to share what's bothering the beautiful brain of yours?' He teased carefully after they had finished their meal. Hannah flashed a teasing smile, but he could tell something was bothering her, and he began to freak about it. 'Shall we open our first present?'

He laughed as he couldn't resist her timing with the question. It was their tradition as a couple to open a gift day before Christmas Eve. Hannah was too impatient to wait to get all the presents on Christmas Eve. 'Let's go then.' Her squeals informed him that she was close to her when she jumped to the lounge, folding her legs under her when Hannah went through a present she would like him to open. 'This one!' She beamed, yet he spotted a nervous look on her when she handed him a neatly wrapped gift.

'Open it, open it!' she ushered, too keen on his liking when her eyes poured into his when he studied her for long. The soft glow from the Christmas lights surrounded them, creating a warm atmosphere around them. 'Why don't you go first?' he offered, yet she shook her head. 'I go first every year; this time it's your turn.' She pointed out the obvious and pushed the present to his hands. 'C'mon, love. Humour me.'

He unwrapped the present, a massive smile on his face as excitement grew within him that turned to frown when he saw a black, sleek box on his hands. Hannah nodded, nudging him to lift the lid. 'Open it.' He gasped and shot a buzzing look towards her when he lifted a pair of small sneakers. 'What are these for?' She giggled and launched her into his lap, snuggled tightly against his chest. Her lips lingered above his, her locking her azure eyes to his. 'Aren't they adorable?' She said, nudging his question. 'Well, of course. Expect we don't have any-' his voice quieted down when he was slowly putting the puzzle together. 'Are - are you -?' His eyes widened, and he lowered his eyes to her tummy before meeting his locks back to hers that swam in happy tears. 'We're having a baby.' She said excitedly, pressing her lips to his for a passionate kiss when he was still processing the information. He finally wrapped himself into the kiss, pouring the love he felt for his wife into it. 'Best Christmas present ever.' he chuckled when they gasped for air.
