It's the next day and you're on your way to the nearest manhole cover, climbing down into the sewers. Once you reach the lair you go straight to the lab, avoiding everyone else. "Hey Donnie." He looks up at the sound of your voice, giving you an adorable gap-toothed smile. "Hey (y/n)! I'm glad you made it here safely. Ready to meet Metalhead?" "You bet!" You follow him over to a robot hooked up to a computer and it's clear that it's seen better days. You kneel down in front of it and place your hand on his head. "Fascinating! Absolutely amazing!" A blush grows on Donnie's cheeks as you continue to compliment him on his work. "T-thanks. He got hurt during a fight and I can't seem to fix him." You look up at him with bright eyes and a wide smile. "Can I help?!" Donnie nods happily and the two of you get to work. A few hours later, Metalhead is almost fixed. Before you can finish, your phone rings. You pick up your phone and answer. As you talk, Donnie watches you and can't help but blush. You finally hand up and turn to Donnie with a sad smile, immediately snapping him out of his trance. "That was the babysitter. I need to pick up Lily. I'm sorry Donnie." "It's alright. Would you like me to walk you back up to the surface?" "If you don't mind." He walked you back up, giving you a slight hug before letting you leave.
