Why are you taking her side? "She asked aggrieved with the current turn in the situation.

Maybe she is feeling ashamed.
Why not she has to feel it. She has been shipping her name with my husband in the whole college. Now I don't think none would believe her talking..... About her imaginary marriage.

Yeah.... And even I am curious of what Siddarth will say.

So I looked at him....

"She is Priya's friend. So it is my duty to protect her. And also about taking sides...... You were the one who is wrong,which I don't support at any cost.

Hope all doubts are cleared?"He said in an authorative tone.

She just nodded. May be she is lost at words.

Just as I thought everything was completed..... I felt a tug at hand.

He was pulling me outside the classroom. Why is he doing it?

I mean they will be suspicious of us right if he do it in front of all , mainly Ria.......

He was walking in an inhuman speed..... I was busy maintaining my steps that I didn't even notice where he was taking me.

If I will be little uncareful I will fall on my face. I was literally running with him.... While he was walking.

May be because he had long legs.... While I am shorter than him.

We came out of the college building. He took me to garden.

And left my hand. Suddenly I felt lose of warmth.......

Holding hands seems so better than standing here like this. Why can't he just talk while holding hands?

He cleared his throat and I looked at him with a confused look on my face.

"What was going on there few minutes back? "He asked..... He is quite serious and I am slightly afraid.

"In the classroom? "I answered with a question.

He rolled his eyes and then nodded. May be he is irritated.

"She called me and asked me to introduce myself. "I said.

"Then why was her hands were about to clutch your hair? "he asked directly.

Now I am quite embarrassed.....

"She asked about my talents may be....and then her friends started mocking me... "I said  with a slight pout on my face.

His eyes darkened. Did I say something improper?

"So?... You were listening to them?
Why can't you raise your voice against them? "He asked.

"They are seniors..... I can't back answer them. What if they rag me for real? "I expressed my thoughts in a low voice.

"With that fear you will not do anything?
That will make you a loser. You have to learn to defend yourself. Even back at home you did this. Am I wrong? "he asked so sternly.
Now I am really terrified.

I know he is the right one here. But I can't talk to others....... I feel afraid.

Timidly I shook my head as no.

I didn't even opened my mouth. I don't even have anything to justify myself.

"So you should follow my words right? "he said.

I immediately nodded my head like an obedient wife. I don't want to piss him off further than he was already.

He was about to talk my friends interrupted him.
Akki came and gave me a side hug.

"Are you alright Savi? "she asked me.

Siddarth now has a question mark face.

"Savi? "he just said those words.

Swapna joined the conversation.
"Oh Savi is the nickname of Sadhvi. We call that. It is short and sweet right? "she asked him.

He just nodded his head.

May be now he want to leave.....

But my friends beat him to it.

"Hello jeeju how were you? "Geetha asked.

My cheeks heated up. God why are these guys calling him jeeju.

I have already embarrassed my self enough today.
Even he seems a little bit embarrassed.....
Even he would not expect my friends to call him jeeju.

"I am fine..... How are you? "He asked.

She nodded her head.....

And then my dearest Akki took the charge to embarrass me.

"Savi darling...... Why are you not introducing your best buddies to jeeju? "she said in a playful tone.

I voted my lips as if gathering my courage to speak.....

"umm..... She is Akhila, she is Swapna  and you already knew Geetha. And he is Siddarth. "I said while signalling each other while talking.

"hello nice to meet you jeeju. " Both Akki and Swapna said together.

He awkwardly nodded and said

"Hello nice to meet you too. "He said.

After a minute of silence..... He said

"OK.... I have some work. So see you guys later. "

We all nodded and he left.

I was watching his departing figure till he disappeared.
