Loki ran out the door, with me closely following him, to find out what was going on. The warriors of Asgard were running in the halls, preparing for battle. The was a feeling of fear in the air as Loki took hold of my hand and took off running. We seemed to be running nowhere in particular until he stopped in front of a tapestry that hung on a wall. Pulling it aside, he motioned for me to follow him.

"Loki, where are we going," I asked him, stumbling in the dark corridor.

"Mothers private chambers, she will be able to keep safe until I find out what is going on. This is a short cut not many people know of, which is lucky for us because it means that we won't run into any uninvited guests."

When we get to the end of the short corridor, Loki pulls back another tapestry that was in Frigga's chambers.

"Loki, Kimberly, thank the realms you're both ok," she said as she embraced both of us.

"Mother what is going on? Who is attacking the palace?"

"It's the frost giants. Your father and brother will need you Loki. I'll look after Kimberly, now go quickly."

We both watched as he left to fight alongside the rest of the warriors and I prayed that he was going be okay.

Loki's POV

I rushed out of my mother's chambers feeling a little more at ease knowing she is watching over Kimberly. I did not know what I would do if anything happened to her. She had come to mean a lot to me in the short time that I had known her, like the sister I always wished I had. She never judged me for being different to Thor and she was not afraid to speak her mind which was something that was desperately needed in Asgard. She understood me in way that not even my mother did.

As I worked my through the halls of the palace I could feel the chill in the air, which was a clear sign that the frost giants had breached the palaces walls. I hurried my pace to get to the fighting quicker. I could hear the screams of the town people as I made my way outside in to a fully-fledged battle.

The warriors three and Sif were in the middle, calling out orders to the men around them but my brother was nowhere in sight.

I grabbed my daggers and made my way over to the only people who I would call my friends. A frost giant was just about to attack Hogun with one of his axes when I started to create illusions of myself around to confuse it. Luckily the frost giant took the bait and Hogun was able to escape it gasp and kill it before it had the chance to hurt anyone else.
