"Mummaaaa!"Haley shouts through the baby monitor, she's far ahead with her speech, she'll be three in two months and already had a full range of vocabulary and is speaking in full and mostly coherent sentences.
"Coming baby girl!! Just a second!"Anne says glancing over to where Harry is stood in the corner sniffling to himself, after throwing a massive tantrum about eating lunch which ended in him throwing the thankfully plastic plate full of food off the table.
Harry is twenty one but mentally is still a child. He had a somewhat normal birth, the cord was tangled around his neck but the midwife explained to Anne that it was common and there seemed to be no problems with Harry. That was until a little after his first birthday when he wasn't hitting the milestones other babies his age were, most were walking and saying a few words while Harry couldn't even crawl and didn't even babble much.

Harry didn't walk until he was four years old and his first words weren't said until he turned six, even now his vocabulary is limited. He can now communicate with Anne but his words are slurred and childlike. After doctors did many tests they revealed to Anne that Harry had a rare brain defect that hadn't been identified in the womb, this meant that Harry's brain was severely regressed and even though it was still developing it will stop around the age of a four/five year old.
