"Autumn will you make me the happiest man on earth and become the love of my life? Autumn Jae Marie will you marry me?" His recent words pondered through my head I heard murmuring around the restaurant tears slipped away as I thought of spending the rest of my life with this man who abuses me he won't let me get away any way so why not...

"Autumn?" Lucas squeezed my hand to get my attention

"Yes I'll marry you" I watched as he slipped the ring onto my left hand ring finger and got off his knees And picked me up and spun around the people in the restaurant clapped for us thinking we were a happy couple

"I love you" he kissed me passionately

"I love you too" he looked deep into my eyes like he was searching for something I looked away at the waitress who was bringing the check

"Congratulations!" She smiled

"I brought dessert on the house for the lovely couple and your meal is on us you two look like the perfect couple"

"I bet we do" I said smartly Lucas kicked my leg under the table I hissed in pain

"I also brought Hennessy for the groom to be and a sangria For the bride to be "

"Can I have a water please" I clears my throat she nodded her head

"Thank you ma'am" Lucas responded Nicely he turned to me sternly as she left the table

"Autumn pull that shit again and I will punch you in your throat don't you dare embarrass me like that again" He said with venom laced in his voice I looked at him and he caught my gaze I looked down

"Do you understand?" He asked

"Yes" I nodded regretting my actions

"Well I hope you two have a lovely night together" she brought the check and the chocolate cake Lucas took it for himself and made me watch him eat it The waitress came back

"Oh my why haven't you saved any for her" she laughed

"She wasn't hungry" he lied I immediately felt sick to my stomach

"I have to go to the restroom excuse me" I grabbed my clutch and ran to the restroom

And threw up in the stall

"Omg are you okay" a random lady walked up to me I nodded my head as I breathed heavily

"Come on let it out sweetie" She rubbed my back and held my hair as I continued to empty my stomach

I wiped my mouth with a paper towel and got a stick of gum out of my clutch

"Thank you so much ma'am" I gave her a warm smile

"You're welcome honey oh and congrats on your new engagement!" She walked out the restroom I started at the engagement ring on my hand and sighed I do love him but can I continue to live like this?
