Percy's POV
We were fighting Atlas when I finally realized what the prophecy meant, the Titan's curse one must withstand, I ran to Artemis and I broke the chains with Riptide. "No child" Artemis said "you cannot hold the sky"
Annabeth did!" I whisper-yelled back not wanting Atlas to notice.
"She is a true Huntress, she barely survived! You will not be so lucky!" Artemis argued back.
I just ignored her and slid under they sky next to her. She glared at me but slid out and started helping Zoë with Atlas. I couldn't see very well but I did see Annabeth and Thalia with Luke who was in chains. I looked back at the fight and noticed Artemis on the ground looking very injured with a barely conscious Zoë. Atlas was walking towards me.
"Oh Percy Jackson!" Atlas said with evil excitement in his voice, "Luke told me a lot about you! Now, you shouldn't have let Artemis out" he stopped and kneeled next to me "let's see" he said before deeply cutting my cheek, My eyes watered but I didn't have enough strength to yell in pain, "now, what if I cut you in half!" He said with excitement, he stood up and was positioning his sword but before he could Artemis slammed into his arm causing him to still cut me very very deeply but not quite in half, 'get ready' Artemis whispered in my mind,
Something big slammed into me and I couldn't have held on if I tried, I was shoved out of the way and slid a very long way.
"Percy!" Multiple people screamed before I hit my head and passed out.
