Dear Mum and Dad,

I have recently brought to the attention of a new talent of mine...

Someone has talked me into trying out for the quidditch team. So what I decided to do, was to tryout, and see how I like it. I've studied the positions and I'll be trying out for chaser. I will let you know if I make it, and I am also doing this to get over my fears of flying.

I'll let you know if there's anything else you need to know. But for now, I'll be practicing my flying until tryouts.

Arabella's POV

I sighed as I walked to the Slytherin commonroom.

I had sent the letter to mum and dad when I woke up, and it was currently 1 p.m. so a couple hours later now.

Nervously looking around, I pushed through the door after saying the password, and walked in.

Wow. It was actually quite nice in here. Dad and mom's description of it was extremely good.

I looked around and saw Alex, Noah, Scorpius, and a few other boys sitting on some couches. I also saw Addy and Olive with their friends over by a piano.

Alex looked up and his eyes widened, and a smile broke out on his face.

"Arabella! You visited!" he exclaimed.

Noah, Scorpius, Addy, and Olive all looked up at me, and I nervously took a step forward.

"W-we need to talk about something..." I said quietly.

Alex nodded. "Does the other family need to know too?"

I nodded. Alex gestured for the girls and Noah to come over, and we went out into the corridor to talk.

"What is it sis?" Addy asked curiously.

I took a deep breath and swallowed hard. "I...I'm trying out for quidditch..." I said softly.

They all stared at me shocked.

"B-but you have a fear of flying!" Addy said, worried.

I nodded. "I know...but I flew last night...it was, fun..."

Her eyes widened and she fell silent.

"What made you change your mind all of a sudden? You wouldn't even be able to watch quidditch!" Noah exclaimed.

I sighed. "Scorpius saw me, a-and he thinks I have potential, so I decided why not. I mean, it's also a chance to prove that I can do other things and have other talents too," I said.

Alex groaned. "I don't know Bell..."

"Sis?"

I looked at Addy, and she had a sad expression on her face. "You aren't doing this because you think you have no talents are you..?"

My eyes widened and everyone looked at me silently.

I shook my head quickly. "Addy, my fear of flying is unhealthy...I think this is just a really beneficial thing..."

She looked at me. "Please promise me that's the only reason," she said, holding out her pinky finger.

I hesitated, but then pinky promised with her.

She smiled softly. "So does that mean I'll be able to tryout too when I can?"

I nodded. "Yes. Yes you can."
