•Moving In•

"It is weird to think that almost all of us here are married" Diana said after the talking queries down. Everyone agreed.

"Well David and I are courting now." Cole announced. "I thought you two were already?" Diana asked. Cole nodded his head and began to speak.

"Yes but we hadn't really talked about it. We met in Charlottetown in a tea shop. We started talking and we just hit it off" Cole said.

"You guys are so perfect together. You should bring him over tomorrow if you're coming" anne said with a smile. Cole nodded his head and told them that he would.

Everyone continued to talk about how things are moving so fast and wondered what was next.

"Oh my goodness it's already 1:00!" Anne said looking at the clock in their living room. Everyone looked surprised, had they really been out talking for 2 hours?

"Time passes fast I guess" Tillie said. People nodded their heads. "Is anyone hungry? I could make something" anne offered.

"I'll help!" Ruby jumped up with a smile. "Same here!" Diana said following the girls into Anne and Gilbert's new kitchen.

"So how are you liking the house?" Cole Asked Gilbert.

"It's amazing. It's what I pictured really. It is strange thinking that we live in a forest surrounded by no one but if Anne likes it I do too" Gilbert answered Coles question.

"You aren't even nervous to live with Anne?" Moody Asked. It was just cole moody and Gilbert outside. Josie Jane and Tillie decided to bring some more boxes into the house to help out.

"Nope. I love her and I can't wait" Gilbert replied. Both the boys looked at Gilbert and nodded their heads knowing how much Gilbert loves Anne.

"So how far along are you?" Diana Asked. Ruby finished cutting the vegetables and answered. "About a month. We found out a few weeks before Anne and Gilbert's wedding". Anne smiled at the thought that ruby and Moody were having a baby. They were the first to get married!

"How excited are you?" Anne asked so curious. "Oh very. But I have no idea what to name them" ruby said. She was already stressing, she had 8 months to stress!

"Oh don't worry about that now. Love not having morning sickness and not craving weird things" Diana replied wit a chuckle. Ruby looked at Diana with a confused look but shrugged it off.

"I've already had morning sickness. Believe I know it sucks. I haven't craved something different yet. At least I don't think so" ruby said trying to think. Anne laughed at ruby who definitely was lost.

"Looks like it's almost ready" Diana said as she took the pie out of the oven. "Tell me again why we needed a desert?" Anne asked while looking at Diana place the pie on a plate.

"Because one it's delicious and two it's delicious" she replied. Ruby nodded her head in agreement. "I love the house so far anne!" Ruby said.

"Thank you Rubes. We obviously have to unpack a lot more but it's getting there" she said with a smile. They all started preparing the plates and taking things out of the oven.

"This looks amazing guys" Diana said. They were all finished, they'd never make a huge meal like this before. They were kind of surprised that nothing went wrong.

"Well we should go place it on the table I guess!" Anne said hoping nothing was wrong because knowing her something would go wrong. Diana nodded her head and picked up the cake as ruby followed her with most of the main meal.

After everyone had sat down they all began to eat. They talked for a long time until it was time for desert. Anne had made the cake and was so excited for everyone to try her creation.

"Here you go!" She said as she served the last slice to Ruby. They all continued on with the conversation until Cole made a face. Anne looked up and asked "what's wrong?". Cole didn't know how to put it.

"It's just that, the cake is" Cole interrupted by Joise who didn't care that much what people thought of her, so she spat it out.

"It tastes like salt. All salt" Anne looked at the cake and took a bite before Ruby could say " I wouldn't do that if I were you-" too late.

Anne swallowed it and looked around the table. She made a face as well which made Cole laugh.

"I'm so sorry everyone! The cake was all me, I guess we haven't unpacked the sugar yet. I must've used salt instead" Anne explained as she quickly got up and took everyone's plates.

Gilbert who was looking at Anne decided to help out with taking the plates in.

"You know, if there wasn't that much salt in it , it would've tasted amazing" he said as he handed her the plates. "Thanks Gil" Anne said as she started to clean them.

Gilbert looked out the window to the trees and the flowers. "I'm going to like living here." He sighed as Anne looked up from what she was doing. She did the same as Gilbert and looked out the window. "Same, it's going to be a great adventure" she smiled and quickly turned back to cleaning the plates. Gilbert chuckled and continued to hand Anne the plates.
