The Roses came out cheering from the tunnels as they had finally won their first international game of the new season. We all headed down waiting for them in the private area to come out. Aunt Verna had already put her sunglasses on and we all followed suit as the bigger the family the more easier it was to be spotted.
Soon Jamal and Mason came out first in their tracksuits with a massive grin on their face.
"Hey baby." He hugged me and I held onto him a little longer.
"Don't scare me like that again." I whispered in his ear and kissed his cheek. "Your mother is here too." I whispered.
He soon let go of me. "Mum!" He said just like a kid and kissed her cheek and hugged her. I laughed and rolled my eyes at his sweetness.
"At least one of us had to come out to this game." She held her sons face in her hands. "You played wonderfully." She smiled.
"Thank you mum." He said proudly.
"Well I believe it is still someone's birthday and we have some celebrating to do." Aunt Verna smiled at me. "Let's head back to the cars."
We headed back to the pick up point and Mason held my hand. "I'll see you soon, I just have to head back to the hotel quickly and I'll be with you. I'm sorry today has been such a rush."
I shook my head, "don't be silly. Today was game day, I get it. I'll see you soon." I kissed him and he headed for his coach.
I linked arms with Lana and we headed for Adam's car with Jacqui.
Isaiah and co had left a few minutes before us and we got into our car with Adam and I checked my phone again. I responded to a few messages from Malcolm as we made our way I assumed back to the villa. It was early evening and the air was still very warm but the sun was settling. I took a few pictures outside of the window then leaned my head on Jacqui's shoulder.
"Long day huh?" She asked and I nodded.
"When we get back I'm sure I'm going to sleep for like a whole week before I get back to normal." I joked.
She laughed, "I don't even have that time."
We soon got back to the villa like half an hour later. Adam took us down a longer route to show us areas of the island we hadn't seen yet. It was pretty beautiful and tropical.
"Thanks Adam." We smiled and waved him off and headed into the villa. As we walked in I gasped and smiled.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY DELILAH!" they all screamed and Mason stood there in a light blue shirt and black suit trousers with a bouquet of flowers.
The villa had been decorated with balloons and banners and music was playing through a speaker.
"You guys!" I said teary eyed and hugged them all.
"Thank you." I hugged Aunt Verna first then Isa, Ida, Alana and Jacqui. Mason was last and he gave me a kiss.
"Come." He said and we all headed outside towards the swimming pool and patio. There was also a massive dining table and BBQ with Oscar behind the grill.
I grinned as we all walked and took our seats around the table.
"Happy 22nd Birthday my love." Aunt Verna hugged me from behind. "I am so proud of you." She smiled and gave me a present.
It was a box and I opened it and grinned. It was a watch that I had really wanted but couldn't afford. "Thank you so much Aunty."
A server came around and offered us some drinks. I received a few more gifts and we chatted away about our time on vacation.
