Chapter 7: First Case

Author's POV
After a long walk you three made it to Ran's apartment.

"This is my house. And starting today from today it's your house as well." Ran smiled

"Okay." You and Conan said at the same time

"It's like I have two cute little siblings. Come I'll introduce you guys to Oto-san."

You followed Ran but Conan stopped walking making both of you to stop as well.

"Ran-chan...the truth is that." Conan was struggling to say something

'Wait- Don't tell me he wants to tell her the truth.' You said to yourself with wide eyes

"Actually, I'm really-" Conan got cut off by a man falling down the stairs

You flinch at the sudden noise and Conan seemed to notice that. Ever since Katio threw something at the wall making a loud noise, you became scared of loud noise.

"Ow." The man groaned getting up from the floor

"Oto-san! You scared me! Where are you going at this time! Drinking with your friends?" Ran said annoyed

The man chuckled, "My first case!"

"Huh?"

"I got a call earlier saying that a little girl has been kidnapped by some men in black and her parents called me! They need my help!" The old man said

'Men in black?!' Conan said to himself with his eyes wide open

"Hey, taxi!" A taxi stopped in front of the old man

"Nee-chan! Let's go too!" Conan said and grabbed your other hand and started pulling you guys to the car

"What are you doing Conan?" You whispered to him as you went inside the taxi car

"Didn't you hear? He mentioned men in black! They were the ones who turned us like this. Maybe we can find some information."

You rolled my eyes and that old man was smiling like a idiot mumbling some things. You then flinched when he laughed like a maniac. The old man's gaze landed on the three of you who was staring at him like some crazy person.

"Why are you here?!" The old man yelled

"It wasn't me! It was him.." Ran said looking at Conan

"Yay! A car! Yay!" Conan said acting like a kid as you holded back your laughter

"Who are they!" The old man yelled making you cover your ears

"They are the children of Professor Agasa's friends." Ran said rubbing your head

"Get off! You're going to wreck my job!"

"We can't get off! We're on a highway!"

As they were arguing back and forth, you noticed Conan's hand turn into a fist. You looked at him and for the first time you were scared of him. He looked like he was about to murder someone which scared you.

Y/n's POV
"So from what you've told me, the daughter of this house has been kidnapped. Tani Akiko of age 10. The kidnapper was wearing all black from head to toe right?" Ran's father said looking at a picture

"Yes my butler had witnessed the act." The father of the kidnapped girl said. "Isn't that right Asou-kun!" He said in a angry tone

I would be mad as well. Someone kidnapping me or my brother of course we would be mad or freaking out.

"Y-yes sir." The butler, Asou, said looking down
