Chapter 19: The Devilish Woman

Author's POV
You followed behind Misami-san and you started to hesitate seeing her wait for a taxi.

'No, no.' You said to yourself shaking your head, 'Black Swan would never hesitate.' You told yourself

You opened the trunk of the car and jumped inside it. You left it open so that you will be able to get out without a problem. As the engine started, you heard someone yell "Misami-san".

You instantly knew it was Conan. "Took you long enough..." You muttered

'That's it! The reason why she seemed different the second time we met, was because she was in such a rush after getting the sudden report of Hiroto-San's discovery that she couldn't make her disguise perfect.' Conan thought to himself sitting next to Ran in the taxi

His eyes lit up again, 'That expression Hirota-San had on his face when he met her...he wasn't shocked because his daughter found him, he was scared because he had been found by the partners he had back-stabbed. Why didn't I notice that earlier?!' He scolded himself

He balled up his hands into a fist still not knowing where you were. Conan then noticed something from the taxi they were following.

'God Y/n, please be okay..' He prayed seeing the car trunk slightly opened

Y/n's POV
The car had finally came to a stop and I heard the car door open. As the foot steps disappear in the distance, I slowly got out of the back trunk and followed her in the darkness.

The platform had lots of cargo's in which Misami-san passed through. Soon enough, she stopped hearing a voice ahead. I quickly went behind one of the cargo's and began to listen to what they were saying.

"I appreciate your efforts, Hirota Misami. No..Miyano Akemi." I heard a male say

'Miyano Akemi? Where have I heard that name before?'

I clicked the button on my headband and swifted my head side to side examine the platform. I stopped examining when I heard Misami, or Miyano, yell.

"You made a promise! You said you'd let me and my sister out of the organization when this job was over. If you bring her here, I'll tell you where the money is."

"Heh... that's not possible. She's one of the top brains in our organization. Unlike you, she is an indispensible member." I heard the male chuckle

I turned my head to the side and took a small glance of the man Miyano was talking to. But my widened seeing the man. His long blonde hair. His tone of voice.

There was no doubt that this man was the same guy from Tropical Island.

"This is your last chance." The man said pointing a gun at her, "Tell me where the money is."

'Miyano, Miyano Akemi...where did I hear it. Where?!' I asked myself repeatedly

"You're naive, if you kill me you'll never know." Miyano said

"You're the naive one, our guesses are getting close to the mark."

'Wait...Miyano..'

"I told you once didn't I? That was your last chance."

I turned my head to them but as soon as I did, a loud bang was heard. "No.."

My bottom lip began to tremble finally remembering who she was. She fell on her knees and I didn't waste time to run to her.

"MIYANO-SAN!!" I yelled out

Before her head could hit the ground, I holded her. She held her stomach as she coughed out blood.
