Y/n's POV
I'm on top of a building waiting for midnight to come. I have to return the diamond me and Kaito stole the other day. Since this morning we haven't talked, I would mostly stay in my room.
As midnight striked, I spread out my wings and flew to the place I have to go. I have to meet Shinichi close to where Tropical Land is since he didn't want to leave Ran alone. Apparently they're still there in the amusement park.
I reached the ground and my wings turned into a cape. I sense someone behind me and I knew who it was.
"Kudo! Are you trying to scare me? Perhaps arrest me?" I asked turning around and going behind him. "Heh, good luck on that. You will never be able to catch me." I whispered
"Where's the diamond." He asked in a serious tone
"Are you mad because I ruined your little date with your girlfriend." I chuckled
"Black Swan.." He warned
"You're no fun." I pouted. I handed him the diamond
I jumped on top of the gate that was behind me. "See you later lil' detective. I would love to see try and catch me." I laughed
"I will catch you Black Swan. I promise. "
"Hah, don't ever make a promise you can't complete Buh-bye."
Author's POV
"Shinichi, did you get the diamond?" Inspector Megure asked. Shinichi nodded and handed him the diamond. "I still don't understand why they just steal it and then return it back."
"I don't know either." Shinichi sighed. "Anyways I'm going to go. See you Inspector Megure!"
Shinichi left to where Ran was and he saw he eating her cotton candy. He slightly laughed and walked towards her.
"You're gonna get a stomachache from eating something sweet this late." Shinichi said taking the cotton candy away from her
"So what. It's very good. Now gimme it." Ran said taking her cotton candy back
"Let's go home now. It's already late." Shinichi said
As Shinichi was walking he spotted a man in black running towards a dark alley. It didn't bother him at first but then he saw you running after the man in black.
'(Y/n)?'
"Sorry Ran, go home without me!" Shinichi yelled running towards the dark alley
"Shinichi!" Ran yelled but Shinichi was already gone
'Why do I have a bad feeling? The feeling of losing him...and never seeing Shinichi again....'

After your little encounter with Shinichi, you took off your disguise ready to go back home. But as you walked passed a man in all black, his aura was dangerous which gave you goosebumps.
You followed him and hid behind the wall spying on a man who was wearing all black. You then felt someone behind and you quickly raised your elbow to hit the person.But to your surprise it was Kudo Shinichi who had dodge the hit. Your eyes widened seeing him behind you and so close to your face.
"Nice reflexes there. But I would love it if you won't try to hit me next time." He said
"What are you doing here?" You asked looking at the man in black seeing if he noticed your presence
"I should be asking the same for you." He said looking at you
"Alright, here's the money. Now give me the film." A man in a suit said
'Huh?! That's gotta be 100 million yen right there! Once I leave I need to inform onii-san.'
"I wouldn't say anymore for your sake." You saw the man in black turning around and walking towards were you and Shinichi was
"Shinichi...we have have to go ba-"
You couldn't finish your sentence because you felt pain in the back of your head. You fell to the ground and your vision started getting blurry.
"Hey isn't that Kudo Shinichi?! We have to kill him along with his girlfriend." One of the guys in black said taking out his gun
"No, no guns. The police are still wandering around from the Black Swan's visit. We'll use this pill that the organization developed. We haven't tested it on anyone so they'll be our little testing rats." The other man said
He shoved a pill into your mouth and poured water so that you can swallow it.
"Let's go! Someone's coming!"
Both men ran from the scene leaving you and Shinichi laying on the grass. You gripped the grass tightly as your body was burning up. You felt your bones melting and you started sweating.
"N-no...I c-can't d-die. K-kaito....p-please help....m-me..." You whispered as you slowly fell into darkness

Y/n's POV
"Hey come over here! We found a dead body!" I heard a male voice say
'Am I dead? Or is Shinichi dead?' I asked myself
"I found 2 kids and they're breathing!" Another male voice said
I opened my eyes and saw a lot of police officers. I was feeling lightheaded and I still saw a little blurry but I maintained my posture
"Hey can you stand up little girl?"
'Little girl?!'
