You headed back to the hotel, starting to pack for Paul's final tour in London. You hated abandoning Paul out there, but you got scared. Too scared. You called out to Jake and Veronica, praying that Paul would come back to you.

"Grandma, where have you been? And why are there stories of you and Paul all over the news?" Veronica asked.

You sighed. You had to tell them eventually.

But has the media already spread rumors about you and Paul in that short amount of time?

"Hey, where's Paul?" Jake wondered.

"I'm right here."

You couldn't believe your eyes. He had returned after all.

"You came back?"

"Why wouldn't I?"

"Because of what I did...it was wrong."

"Maybe, but I forgive you. Have you seen what they wrote about us yet?"

"Not yet."

Paul sighs and hands you the article:

"Paul McCartney's New Lover"

Skimming through the pages, you notice so many lies and assumptions, with the mention of a previous wife of his.

You facepalmed. This was the worst.

"What are we going to do?"

"What can we do, Y/N? We've just got to live with it."

You frowned, a tear slipping down your cheek.

"No, please don't cry, love. Let's just go to bed and work it out tomorrow, ok?"

You nodded. Paul wiped away your remaining tears before you both went to bed, Paul never letting go of you.

"I've gone through this my entire life. I know it's a new experience for you, but I'll help you through it."

When you woke up early in the morning, the noisy buzzes of the phone filled the air.

"Hello?" you answered, rather groggily.

"May I speak to Paul, please?" the voice requested.

You didn't want to wake up Paul; he looked like such a cherub as he slept. But alas, you had no choice.

"Paulie? Someone wants to talk to you."

He groans. "Hello?"

"Dad? What the hell?"

"Stella? What are you talking about?"

"The news, dad! Who is that woman?"

"Don't you remember Y/N? She was my lifelong best friend."

"I don't think you ever told me about her...please tell me she's, y' know, ok."

"What do you mean?"

"Well ever since-"

"Ok, ok, I get it. I'll be in London for my final tour tomorrow, so maybe you could meet her."

"That's fine. I just kind of wish I didn't find out through a lying news article."

"Yeah, I'm sorry about that."

Paul put down the phone, looking at you.

"Who was that?"

"You'll see. We've got some time before the show, and we have to go somewhere."

"Should Jake and Veronica stay behind?"

"They most likely would want to."

Paul took you to this surprise location, with two women greeting you.

"You must be Y/N. Come in." one says.

Everyone sits on the couch. Paul finally introduces the two women.

"These are two of my daughters, Stella and Mary."

You greet them both, but they still seem to have a skeptical look on their faces.

"Are you sure she's alright?" Mary asks.

"You said she was your best friend. How did you two even meet?" Stella inquires.

You and Paul looked at each other. You decided to tell the whole story, even up until now.

"Wow, " Mary admitted. "maybe she is better than Heather."

"Heather?" you wondered, still not knowing the full story.

Paul had hidden behind you. He hated bringing up that devil's name, much less her backstory.

Stella sighed. "He had married Heather in 2002. It seemed as if he had rushed into marriage. They had a daughter, Beatrice. The woman was a gold digger. She claimed that he was often drunk, smoked cannabis, stabbed her with a broken wine glass, pushed her over a table, and pushed her into a bathtub while she was pregnant. When it was over, she ended up with a total of £24.3 million."

You grasped Paul's hand. You felt so bad for him.

Paul's POV

Y/N had to use the bathroom, which I had led her to. Once I go back downstairs, I feel as if I can share my secret with my daughters.

"It's the perfect time for Y/N to use the bathroom because I need to tell you both something that she can't hear."

"Ok then..." Stella answered.

Once I told them, they took it better than I thought.

This is a rare unreleased track also titled Heather. I debated on only using this because I like it way better, but I might as well show them both.

I'm assuming that most of you guys don't listen to the songs that the chapters are named after, but seriously, listen to this rarity. It's beautiful. Paul's voice is gorgeous. Not to mention, it's always nice listening to the rare tracks they made.

So enjoy if you do listen 😉
