Chapter Eighteen

//two months later//

I haven't talked to Matt in two months. These two months have been absolute hell for me. I couldn't do this anymore.

I sat down at my desk and started writing a note for Matt. I packed a backpack full of everything I would need including money.

It was 8 o'clock but Chad was already in bed. I quietly walked downstairs and walked out the door. Matt's house was close so I walked there. I knocked on the door and Laura opened it.

"Hi Sophia"

"Hi, um is Matt here?"

"Yeah, he took something to make him sleep so he's sleeping."

"Can I just go leave something in his room?"

"Of course"

I walked into his room and placed the note in his desk and sat on the bed next to him. I started crying.

"I'm so sorry Matt"

I kissed his forehead. I walked downstairs while wiping away my tears.

Laura walked me to the door.

"Thank you" I smiled

"Anytime sweetheart"

I walked outside and down the block. I called a cab and waited for it. It finally got there and I got in.

"Where are you headed?"

"The airport"

I need a new start. I'm done being told what to do and when to do it. I want to be able to do what I wanna do. I'm starting a new life for myself.

i know this i really short and SHITTY AF but this was the last chapter but there is a sequel im working on it but there is gonna be an epilogue
