    ...MONDAY...

I did not feel like waking up early this morning, but I have work at 10AM so I had no choice! I rolled out of bed, and I laid on the ground for a few seconds before finally getting up. I went in the bathroom, took a hot shower and later, I put on my work uniform, put my hair in a ponytail and I eventually headed downstairs.

When I made it downstairs, I saw Elijah making himself a sandwich for work. I knew it was for work is because he had a whole gym outfit on.

Me: "Morning Elijah."

Elijah: "What's up Heni!"

Me: "What kind of sandwich you are making?"

Elijah: "Ham and cheese with pickles and stuff."

Me: "Oh, that's nice."

Elijah: "You want me to make you one?"

Me: "Nah, I'm good thank you anyways."

Elijah: "Whatever you say."

Me: "Did Adeana leave early today?"

Elijah: "Yeah, she had a class at 8 o'clock to teach."

Me: "Oh, okay."

Elijah: "So, what are you guys doing today?"

Me: "For what?"

Elijah: "For you know."

I was confused about what he was trying to say.

Me: "Uh. What?"

Elijah placed his sandwich down on the counter and he looked at me dumbfounded.

Elijah: "Dude it's October 3rd..come on!"

Shit now that he said the date, I know it's my mom's birthday!

Me: "OH! I remember now!"

Elijah: "Oh my lord. I thought you forgot her birthday!"

Me: "I don't know what we're doing. I mean most of our family stays in Georgia and we're in Nevada so, there's nothing we can really do."

Elijah: "Yes there is, we can have a mini dinner."

Me: "Will you guys go get the stuff? I won't have time when I get off at 6!"

Elijah: "Adeana and I won't be at the school for long, so we could."

Me: "Okay. That's great!"

Elijah: "Alrighty. Now you should go, it's almost 10 o'clock."

Me: "Ah, thank you! Bye. Love you!"

Elijah: "Love you too."

Then that's when I grabbed my keys and left.

It was now 3 o'clock in the afternoon and we haven't been that busy today, I guess because it's Monday. I was currently in the kitchen with my two coworkers, Kelsey and Leah.

Leah: "Okay, so Kels how was the date last night?"

Kelsey: "It was pretty great, until his mom called him yelling at him to go get her medicine or something."

Me: "Wait, that actually happened?"

Kelsey: "YES! He was so embarrassed that he started turning red, but I told him it was okay.."

Leah: "I would've blocked my mom for the rest of the night!"

Me: "So did he go get her medicine?"

Kelsey: "Yeah, like two hours later!"
