...I blinked and shuffled to stand pressed up against Bubba's side more as his grip just seemed to tighten at my movement, i heard Drayton scoff at my motion and placed his hands onto his hips.

" Sawyer family, meet the Hewitt family" He said with a grin

A women walked on over to us with a man in a sheriff uniform who seemed to have something shoved permanently up his ass, a fella in a wheelchair and a- I, uh, oh fuck, a big tall mountain of a man and oh fuck he was good looking.

Drayton walked forward leading us over to them

" Luda Mae, great seeing you again" Drayton said sharing a hand shake with the women of the Hewitt family

" Drayton, i could say the same but i wish it was under better circumstances." 'Luda' said in response with a grim look on her face

Luda looked on over to me and the boys, her eyes scanning over us all until finally landing on me well it was more my hair than any other part of me really but who gives a fuck i don't know who she is personally.

" Who's pinky?" She asked looking me in the eye, i felt Bubba tug me closer to him- if that was possible- i heard him huff and noticed how his other hand was tugging at his shirts loose seam.

I looked over and caught the big man's eye, i gave him a smile and he scrunched his eyes and looked away

" That there Luda Mae is our lil girl, Robin, shes been staying with us for good over three years now. Practically apart of the family" Drayton said, i rolled my eyes at the 'lil girl' part but didn't say boo about it cause he just seemed so proud of it all.

Luda gave me another look over and nodded, she looked me in the eye and shrugged with a small smile.

" From what you said over the calls we had, i always thought this pink haired addition was a man" She said with a chuckle which got me to smile at her

" Well, either way its a pleasure to meet you Mama Mrs Luda Mae Mam" I said with a smirk on my lips, Chop chuckled under his breath as Nubbins smacked him upside.

Luda sighed " I have to say that you have wonderful manners girl, just call me Mama though. I don't want none of that formal gestures around me now, I've always wanted a daughter!" She said while smiling at me, i nodded in response.

The bozo in the sheriff attire coughed which seemed to flip a switch on in her head as her eyes flung over to them for a second before returning to us

" Yes, well, I am Luda Mae as you ALL now know but as you ALL now know just call me Mama. The one here on my left in the sheriff get up is my eldest son Hoyt and my brother Monty who is in the wheelchair and last but certainly not least is my baby boy Thomas." Luda- Mama said

I waved at them with a smile, none of them did it in return but its the thought that counts

We were showed inside considering everyone already knew everyone already, i was gonna get to share a room with Bubba and Thomas. Two big bulky handsome men all to myself, oh fuck yes!

I saw a massive puddle from Thomas' window and raced out of the room to show Nubbins, we both nodded and set to work...

" Why are you two soaking wet?" Mama asked with a brow quirked

" There was a p-p-puddle." Nubbins said simply, I gave Nubbins hand a reassuring squeeze
