"Are you done yet?" Chace asked as I closed my book of Calculus and grabbed another one for more exercises.

"Just finishing," I muttered distractedly.

"How many exercises have you done?" he wondered, probably looking at my messy room with books of every subject strewn over furniture and floor.

"I have finished two books already," I answered swiftly and stood up to search for another of my calculus book which wasn't on the bed.

"That's enough for an exam Alex," he said, I could hear the frown in his words.

"Uh huh," I said distracted. "Where is that damn book?" I mumbled angrily to myself.

"Are you listening to me?" he asked incredulous.

"Of course I am," I said. I picked up a blouse and threw it to another corner of my room. A pair of shorts followed it.

"Aha!" I exclaimed happily, finally having found my book. I flipped through it. "Yup," I nodded to myself, "only seven more exercises to go."

Suddenly the book was snatched from my hands. "Hey!" I started and turned around to give a nice scolding to the culprit.

"Chace!" I said startled. "Oh, what are you doing here?" I asked frowning. When did he enter?

He glared at me. "I brought dinner."

My eyes went to his empty hands. "I don't see food," I said. "And I'm not hungry anyway," I said just as my stomach let out a large growl.

"He, he," I said sheepishly, flickering my eyes away.

"He, he," Chace mocked. "There it is."

I slouched towards my dressing table and picked up the tray filled with food. I moaned as the delicious food smell wafted up my nose.

"Now that's a sound I would love to hear," Chace whispered huskily in my ear, his chest pressed up to my back.

My face warmed. "Shut up," I said elbowing his hard abs.

He smirked and kissed my neck. I tensed. "Sure babe."

I pushed him away and picked up the tray, taking it back to my bed. "Get out now, let me eat and study in peace."

"Nuh uh," he said, walking over and sitting beside me on the bed. "No more studying for you," he said and closed the register in which I was doing my sums.

"But I need to prepare for my exam!" I said indignant.

"You have prepared already," he said simply.

"Look," I started frustrated as he kept picking up my calculus books and piling them over one another. "These exams will help in my acceptance in universities. Give. Back. My. Books."

"Nope," he said popping the 'p'. "What you need is a warm dinner and a good night sleep. Any subject of math needs concepts and fresh mind to be done. If you are sleepy in your exam, you are going to fail it even though you would have learnt all the calculus books you could find."

I looked at the digital clock on my side table. It said 23:07. I grudgingly accepted his words. He was right, if I was tired I was going to mess up my exam and I needed to be up at 6 the next morning.

"Fine," I told him and started to eat my food which consisted of Chinese rise and it's special sizzling sauces.

"Good girl," he said pleased, petting my head.

I removed his hand with a scowl. "I am not your pet," I growled.

"You growl like one," he teased.
