“Where next?” Chace asked as we came out of the ice cream with me still looking a bit pale.

“Now we go to the park.”

“Park? That’s the best you got?”

“Now look here, I’m the one making plans for the day and you are just going to follow them.”

Chace scowled. “Yes ma’am.”

I patted his cheek mockingly. “Now we are getting somewhere.”

---Twenty five minutes later---

“I’m tired!” Chace whined the hundredth time now.

I rolled my eyes. It’s better to ignore him when he is having girly problems.

“Are you even listening to me?” he asked incredulous.

“Alex!”

“Alexandria Crawford!”

“Listen to me!”

“I’m tired!”

“Alex!”

See what I mean?

Eventually, we reached the park which was filled with couples as it was Valentine’s Day and all.

“Finally!” Chace yelled and knelt down to the ground, looking up at the heavens as he did so.

I raised an eyebrow at him. “You were the one who was eating my brain and you are the one more excited to reach here?”

He pursed his lips at me. “I was not eating your brain. I was merely trying to gain your attention.”

I rolled my eyes. “Yeah right,” I muttered.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him up. “Let me show you what type of fun we can have in a park.”

First, we made our way to the playground.

“Come on let’s slide!” I said enthusiastic.

He pulled his hand away. “Oh no, I’m not sliding down a kid’s slide.”

I shrugged. “Your loss.”

Quickly, I took off my heels and started towards the slide. When I reached the top, suddenly the ground seemed too far away. Okay, so this slide wasn’t the usual ones, the one that went straight down. No, this one was the huge one which curves and bends and then reached the ground.

I sat on the edge of the standing area and was just about to push myself down when someone did it for me.

“Ah!” I let out a shriek in surprise and went slipping down. The material of my skirt and the smoothness of the slide didn’t help the speed I was going. In a few seconds, I was on the ground, lying in the sand in shock.

“Get out of my way!” I heard a shout.

On instinct, I quickly stumbled away from the slide. Good thing I did too because a second later Chace came tumbling down making a weird face as his bottom touched the ground with a ‘thump!’.

I burst into a fit of giggles at his face which was slightly twisted in pain. He looked at me with fake scowl but then too burst in laughter.

“What?” I asked.

“Your… your… your skirt!” he said in between laughs.

Confused, I looked down to see that my skirt had risen up which showed Chace a clear view of what was underneath them. Quickly I crossed my legs and pulled my skirt down, my face flushing scarlet. It was a good thing that I was wearing girl boxers.
