"Look at this." I walked closer and she pointed to her hair. "What?" I asked confused because I didn't see anything.
"You don't see that damn grey hair?! I can't, these kids and these rehearsals are kicking my ass."
"Jan calm down, baby it's not that serious I still love you."
"Mhm I can tell from last night." She smirked and looked at me through the mirror. "Uh uh no more it's the middle of the day baby plus we're having company come over in a few."
"I know." She said rolling her eyes and standing up, "We're my babies at?"
"Oh Kamden is sleep and KJ running around here somewhere."
"As usual I swear that boy sleeps like he has a job."
"You telling me? Tuh it's so hard waking him up. Anyway you want a snack or something?"
"No I can wait until our guests get here, speaking of which they late as hell."
"They're always late and you know this." Just as I finished my sentence the door bell rang.
"Mama! Someone's at the door!" KJ screamed from downstairs. "I know baby here we come."
"I swear if we ever get stranded somewhere and we need a bullhorn we could just use her."
"Jay don't play with my baby."
"She's more my baby then yours."
"Shut up Jay and get the door."
"Mhmm whatever."

"Hey Just-" Before I could get it out KJ cut me off and pushed me aside. "Just!" Justice bent down and picked KJ up and kissed her all over her face. I swear both Kam and KJ could be her kids the way they are attached to her hip.
"Damn KJ just fuck her parents huh?" Toni nudged me and Justice ignored me. "Oh forget momma, I missed you Jo!"
"I missed you too!"
"Where's Kammy?" Justice asked straightening out KJ's shirt. "He sleep."
"Go get him up for me I didn't come all the way here for him to be sleep." She put KJ on the ground and she took off.
"Now that our kids are out the way where's Kobi?" Toni asked looking outside.
"About that-" Before she could finish her statement someone yelled her name.
"JUSTICE! Can you come help please!"
"Hold on! Yeah so I have a surprise for everyone just wait here, okay?" We didn't have a chance to respond before she ran down to her car.
"Jan you know that voice?" Toni asked me, "nah baby you know that voice?" She shook her head and we waited for her to come back. When she came back she was holding Kobi.
"My grand baby!" Toni said grabbing her from Justice. "Okay so Kobi was the surprise?"
"No but when the surprise does come please don't get upset." She said with pleasing eyes.
"We aren't making any promises."
"Janet stop, we won't get upset go ahead baby." Justice smiled and waved over whoever called out for her a few minutes ago.
When I tell you Toni put Kobi down so fast I swear she dropped her, I had to jump in front of Toni just in case she was about to come across the face of Justice's surprise.

"Bitch... did she just?" Toni said whispering in my ear making me giggle.
"Look y'all can we come inside to talk about this before we all start fighting?" We stepped aside to let them both come in. Anika picked up Kobi and followed Justice into the dining room.
"Janet why are you so calm about all of this usually you'd have beaten her ass."
"Baby I'm high right now I don't know what the hell is going on, just come on I gotta hear this shit." I held out my hand for Toni to grab and we walked into the dining room.
Everyone was already seated at the table and of course the twins were all over Justice and Kobi was laying on Anika's chest falling asleep.
The first ten minutes of dinner was awkward silence until Justice finally said something.
"Okay um I can't do this anymore."
"What are you talking about sweetie?" Toni said staring directly at Anika with venom in her eyes.
"This! Look I know this isn't what you expected when I said I had a surprise."
"You damn right this isn't what I expected." I whispered. "But I love Anika okay?"
"Girl last time we checked she was married! How can you love a married woman?!"
"Toni listen-"
"Oh hold the hell up I know you didn't just call me Toni?! Justice we talked about this I will not be taking this disrespect anymore."
"My bad... mother listen Anika is divorced she's been divorced since the 'For colored girls' premiere."
"Oh the day you almost died because of her?!" Toni snapped back at her.
"Ma! Stop!"
"Wait baby you almost died?! Because of me?!" Anika asked holding Kobi's head.
"Baby?" I asked myself, "man I'm too high for this shit." I said aloud this time and everyone looked at me causing me to laugh and pull my ear, "yeah Anika she did."
