Chapter 1

-Hailey's POV-
"Hailey! Get ready for school!" My mom yelled from down the stairs. I got out of bed and got dressed in a crop top and a high-to-low skirt. I then curled my long ombré hair and wore a owl necklace. Before I left I did light makeup that went great with my brown eyes.

"I'm coming!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs."wouldn't want to be late on the 1st day" mom told me. Later she dropped me off at school. I just moved here so I knew absolutely nobody at this school. I looked down at my schedule to my first class.

Out of nowhere I felt as somebody ran into me. "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry" a girl said to me. "oh, um it's ok" I said. "my names Becky what's yours?" She asked. "Hailey, nice to meet you" I said and smiled. we showed each other our schedules and Appearently we had a few classes together. We talked as we walked down the hall.
As we walked I saw a boy staring at us. I couldn't help but stare back at him as we just walked by. As we turned a corner of the school I yanked Becky's arm to stop. "what was that for?!" She said. "did you see that guy staring at us?" I asked. "yea, Matthew...what about him?" She questioned back. "he's kinda cute" I said and blushed.
"Aw you got a crush already!" She teased."lets just get to class" I said as we continued to walk.
Oh and Becky has blonde hair that was in a side braid. she wore high waisted shorts with a crop top and vans that matched her blue eyes.
-skip to after school-
We were walking to our lockers. "Becky I'm telling you he was staring at me at lunch!" I said. "I was right next to you, I saw him" she laughed."oh my gosh his locker is close to mine" I said while watching him."my locker is at the end of the hall so I guess I'll see ya tomorrow" Becky said as she walked away. I walked up to my locker and opened it grabbing my backpack. he looked over at me and said "hey my names Matt". "Hi my names Hailey" I said back. "That's a pretty name for a beautiful girl" he said and winked. On the outside I blushed but he made my insides melt. I covered my cheeks with my hands and laughed. "I'm such a dork" I said. "Your no dork" he said while removing my hands away. "Hey Matt!" A guy with brown hair and light blue eyes said as he ran up."hey dude wanna hang out after school?" Matt said. the guy nodded then pointed to me. "who's that?" He asked. "This is Hailey" Matt said."Hailey this is Nash he's my friend" he said."its a pleasure to meet you Hailey" Nash said.
-Matt's POV-
I felt like a creep just staring at her earlier but she was beautiful. I'd like to get to know her better. Nash and I said goodbye to her and left to my house."You like that girl don't you?" Nash asked me. I said nothing because if I did he would just tease me. "Ooo you got a crush?" He asked. "do you like Hailey?" He asked again. I couldn't help but look down and smile. "you DO like her I knew it!" He laughed. "Your so relentless Nash. just don't make it a big deal" I responded. He nodded as we got to my house.
