I heard every word Nandu said. I know she was being protective but I don't think Rahul is at fault. She entered the home fuming.

" Why did you say all that to him?"

" because you can't."

" Nandu, you know I have hurt him. Obviously, he'll react like that."

I said nothing " okay fine. Fuck you and your problems. I'm leaving"

With that, she left. I don't knowhow to react. My life has literally become a movie. I can totally make a Drama over my life.

It's been two hours since Nandu left. Benign anxious. I tried calling her but she is picking up. I'm on the verge of crying. My Lil sister is away and I have no clue where she is.
Just then my phone rang and I answered it without looking at the caller id.

" Nandu, where are you?"

" it's Kartik and she is at her friend' s place. She informed me. "
I took a breath of relief " oh thank God"

" She told me everything. Why didn't you tell me you met him again?"

" I didn't know what to say? I saw him and all I could see was a broken man. A man I broke into a million pieces. I thought I'll admire him from far but I guess that's just not possible in our case" I said as my tears rolled down

My sister left for Pune the day after. She's still upset and I also didn't push it much. Currently, I'm leaving work and going home.
