Chapter 29

Rosé's POV

"Where have you been?" Jennie said and leaned forward while I was in Jisoo's arms.

"I- uhm..." I started to shutter due to the INTENSE staring she was giving me.

"Hm. I see." She said then looked at Yoongi.

"Where was she?" She said snd crossed her arms.

"Jennie, we can just-"

"Keep quiet Unnie." She said to Jisoo which shocked me.

She never talked back to Jisoo unnie for as long as I know.

"I don't know. I'm not Chaeyoung." He said blankly.

Jennie then stood up and banged her fist on the table.

"I KNOW YOU'RE STILL MEETING HIM!" She yelled.

"Jennie... Calm down." Taehyung said and stood beside her.

"Ani! Park Chaeyoung, stop meeting a man who cheated AND kidnapped you!"

"Ani Jennie, you don't understand-"

"I KNOW I DON'T. BUT THE ONE THING I KNOW IS THAT YOU WILL NEVER MEET THAT MAN AGAIN!"

We all went silent...

I can't believe Jennie would actually go this far in locking me in my room.

"Jennie..." I said and walked towards her.

"If I tell you wants going on with me, please allow me to meet him again..."

"And why the h*ll would I agree to that?! YOU STILL LOVE THAT JERK?!"

"No Jennie, I don't. But he can help me with Seulgi."

"Seulgi? Why Seulgi...?" She said and faced me.

I looked at Yoongi who nodded his head, signaling me to tell her.

"Jennie, you see..."

I spent 6 hours explaining what was going on with Seulgi and I.

We were all up until 3am... And it was all worth it.

She didn't say anything after she was sure that Seulgi has a plot to kill me.

She then stood up, went to me and hugged me.

"Chaeyoung... Promise me one thing." She said and hugged me tighter.

"What is it?" I said and hugged her back.

"When this is all over, when you're 100% sure Seulgi is gone and you're safe..." She paused

"You must never meet Jimin again..." She said.

My breath hitched and I lowered my head.

"Can... Can I at least still see Yoongi?" I said and held Yoongi's hand.

She didn't say anything at first but when she looked at Yoongi, she sighed.

"Fine... You may. Do we have a deal Chaeyoung?"

I'm sorry Jimin.

"N-Ne... Deal." I said hesitatingly.

"Arrasseo, you may meet him. I'll be in my room." She said and walked away.

Taehyung went to me and held both of my hands.

"I hope you know what you're doing." He said and kissed my forehead.

"Don't worry Tae, I know what I'm doing... But." I paused.

"Just in case I die... Please take care of Jennie for me."
