Part 16 Child Borrower Reader x Donnie

Reader's POV

Tonight is my first time going on an actual mission with everyone, I am so excited!

I put my hair up as I smiled to myself thru the mirror.

When I get back April plans on cutting my hair to a better length for me, I ran into the living room as I waited for Dad to come up. 

"You got everything Don?" Uncle Leo asked. "Uhh.... I think I do in fact." He said as he smiled at me. I smiled as everyone started to head out of the tunnels.

We reached the surface as we all headed up a building, it looked like a old apartment building.

"Alright, lets go over the rules for Y/n, and then we describe what we do then we head off." Uncle Leo instructed.

Everyone nodded.

"Alright." They all said as dad came closer towards me.

"So we are going on patrol, it's where we all look for things that are involved with the foot or if some lady is being robbed, simple things like that. We often have to wait for an opening before doing anything." Dad instructed as I nodded. "The rules.." Raph started.

"No wondering from the group, we stick together. We also have to come up with plans quickly before taking action." Uncle Raph said. 

"And No goofing around." Leo said as everyone looked towards Uncle Mikey. "What?" He asked as he hid the pizza slice behind his shell.

"What have we told you Mikey, no food while on patrol." Uncle Raph growled.

"Hey we haven't started yet!" Uncle Mikey protested his innocence. The brothers groaned. 

"You get tired when you eat." Dad said as he crossed his arms.

"I-I do not!" Mikey said as he turned from the others as he tried to finish his slice of pizza. Uncle Leo grabbed it from him as he tossed the pizza over the edge where the garbage usually is.

"HEY!" Someone shouted. We all glanced down to see the pizza slice landed on that guy known as the Falcon.

"Oh hey Vern!" Mikey smiled. "Seriously?" The man named Vern groaned.

We watched as he started to climb up a nearby ladder.

We backed away from the edge to prevent from being seen.

"Seriously you guys, this is a new suit." Vern sighed.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the prince of the city." Uncle Raph smirked as he got closer towards Vern.

"Hey, we all know that agreement. We still have to go with it since the whole ali-" Dad covered my ears as I looked up at him.

I looked back at the man with a suit and a gold key thingy hanging from his neck.

Dad let go of my ears as I looked at dad questionably. "Careful of the kid Vernm." Leo glared at Vern.

"What kid? Who's kid?" Vern questioned. I stepped closer to him as I tugged on his pant leg as he jumped slightly. "You're the Falcon dude from the basketball game." I said as I pointed to his face.

"Y/n honey, it's not nice to point." Dad said as he picked me up. "Sorry dad, sorry Mr. Falcon." I said as I smiled at him. 

"Since when did you have a kid Donnie?" Vern questioned. "Frankly how?" Vern said. "Woah! Seriously?" Uncle Mikey gasped. "What? I'm being honest." Vern said. 

Everyone looked at Vern as he put his hands in the air from all the unimpressed looks.

"You never change do you Vern?" I turned as I saw Auntie April.
