Twenty Ninth Aegyo

Today is the day of the festival. A lot of people came ( it was also open to the public ) and can be seen frequenting random booths. Right now, the others and I were standing by the gates, waiting for INFINITE to arrive. Of course I feel nervous ( since they'll be able to see our performance for the Final Night ) but the feeling of thrill is also present. This will be the first time they'll be visiting the university, usually it's us who always does the visiting but now it's the other way round. I could see Yuna and Choilin getting excited at each seconds passed ( they'll finally get to meet their idols for the first time ), Hae-won and Jin-Hae can be seen chatting, Jung has his hands behind his head and was yawning as he listened to Seon and Hana's conversation and Jean has her phone in hand ( she's probably on Twitter right now, the university's wifi can be reached up to the gates ). A white van suddenly stopped in front of us, and that's when I felt my heart lurched.

" They're here. " Jean pocketed her phone and pushed away from the wall she's been leaning on. 

" That's them??!! " Choilin asked while pointing at said van. To prove her point, Sungyeol was the first one to pile out before the rest of the members did. I could see Yuna and Choilin stiffling their squeels as INFINITE approached us. 

" There's a lot of people attending the festival. " Dongwoo said as he patted her shoulders. " Makes me want to try all the booths as well. "

" This is exciting!!! " Sungjong exclaimed as he scanned his surroundings. 

" Yah, Sungjong there aren't any Lemon Candy here. " Sunggyu snickered while their maknae pouted and was fuming at him.

" Anyways, gu-- " Jean was suddenly tackled in a hug by no other than Woohyun.

" I've missed you so much My Honey!!! " He said. Jean had a blush on her face as all of us snickered at her. She tried to free himself from the hug but Woohyun wouldn't let her and tightened his grip around her.

" Hey. " Myungsoo approached me. I gave him a smile and he, in turn, mirrored mine as well. Soon, they noticed our friends and we introduced them. Of course, Yuna and Choilin were ecstatic and can be seen squeeling and fangirling. 

" Although... " Jin-Hae suddenly interjected. " Of course, you guys are in disguises so did you ever thought of having codenames as well? "

" Actually we did. " Hoya was the one who answered her question. Even if it isn't that clear, you can see a light blush and a small smile on her face. " Though the thought didn't lingered too long... "

" If you guys are going to have codenames... " I suddenly thought before pointing at Sunggyu. " You'll be Gyu-chan. "

" Woo-chan. " I pointed at Woohyun.

" Dong-chan. " I pointed at Dongwoo.

" Jong-chan. " I pointed at Sungjong.

" Yeol-chan. " I pointed at Sunyeol.

" Myung-chan. " I pointed at Myungsoo, and suddenly blushed at the nickname that I thought for him. 

" And Chips Ahoy-chan... " My eyes widened at the slip of my tongue at Hoya's nickname. Everyone couldn't help but laugh at that. Hoya only gave me a grin.

" Hey Blythe, why did I ever do to you for giving me such a name? " He asked me.

" But I always call you that, even before we met you guys. " I said. Hoya was dumbfounded and couldn't help but ruffle his head at that.

" Aww, Chips Ahoy-chan~ " Dongwoo teased. He received a glare and a menacing smile from the former.

" Seriously Blythe and your animes... " Jean sighed. We decided to drop the codenames and just have fun.

The first booth we went to was the House of Mirrors. It was really funny and amusing. You'd just walk around and see a lot of mirrors hanged on the walls. There are normal ones and odd ones ( where when you look, your reflection will be reflected in an unusual kind of form that can either make you laugh or freak you out ). After the house of mirrors, we decided to try on some carnival games. Seon was skillful with the shooting game and managed to won two stuff rabbits and gave it to both Jin-Hae and Hae-won ( he caught the two staring at it and he decided to play the game just so he could win the two bunnies ). Woohyun and Sunggyu tried to play the game but ended up winning nothing.

The next one was the ring toss and Jung managed to win stuff toys for all of the girls. Again, Woohyun and Sunggyu, add Dongwoo and Sungyeol in the fray, tried to play the game. This time, they all managed to win a prize. Woohyun got Jean a panda plushie, Sunggyu decided to give me the koala plushie that he won, Sungyeol gave Jean and I a stuffed penguin and Dongwoo won stuff toys for all of the girls in our group ( I could see Yuna was ecstatic at this, finally she gets to receive something from her idol ). 

As we were walking around the carnival section, a plushie caught my attention. It was a cute hedgehog plushie. I wanted it so bad but winning it is impossible. Why I said that? It's because it is one of the prize for the High Striker ( or also known as strength tester or strongman game ). It is a kind of attraction where you have to struck the other end with a hammer or mallet. The aim is to ring the bell suspended on top of the tower. I guess Myungsoo saw this and decided to play the game. I was surprised and tried to tell him that it was alright but he played the game anyway. He managed to ring the bell two times ( you get the hedgehog plushie if you manage to ring the ball two times ) and managed to win the plushie that I wanted. The others also tried this, but none couldn't prevail. 

" What's your secret here?! " Jung flailed his arms in the air. " You managed to ring the bell two times and made it look like it was nothing!!! " Myungsoo only smirked at that. Woohyun decided to grab the hammer.

" I'll prove how much my love for Jean is infinite. " He said and took his position. " I LOVE JEAN WITH ALL OF MY HEART!!!! "

" Wow, your love for her is only 90% " Sungyeol teased.

" But at least it's much higher than yours, 85% " Woohyun grinned and turned to Jean. " Hey did yo-- "

Jean was watching another booth. This kind of booth is where you use a rod ( with a string attached to it that has a loop on the end ) to try to make the bottle stand. Rather than the game, she was looking at a certain prize. It was an INFINITE member shirt with Woohyun's name printed on it. INFINITE's heart-machine couldn't help but smiled and approached her.

" I'll win that for you. " He said and grabbed the rod.

" It's almost impossible to win this game. " Was what she said as she watched him. It only took seconds before the bottle stood. Jean has her eyes widened while the others stared at awe. 

" I'll take that member shirt. " Woohyun pointed to the shirt that Jean was looking at. 

" H-How did you do that. " She asked while thanking him for the shirt. 

" Do it with the proper timing and speed and you're fine. " He said before whispering. " I never thought you'd be collecting things that has me in it~ " Jean glared at him.

We all decided to eat lunch at a Maid Cafe, facilitated by the HRM students. We got to see a lot of booths like the Marriage booth ( Woohyun wanted to pull Jean inside but the latter didn't want to because it's embarassing ), the Fortune-telling booth ( where everyone decided to bully Myungsoo and asked about his future with me, in which I blushed at what the fortune teller has said ( seriously who wouldn't when she tells you that you'll be having a good life with three kids and so on ) the two of us exited the booth with flushed faces ) and many more. While eating, Sungjong decided to ask whether there's a Horror Booth somewhere.

" There is one. " Hana said. " It is facilitated by the Political Science students. "

" Cool, let's go there after eating. " I could see Dongwoo slightly going pale.

" W-We're going? " He asked.

" No worries. " Hae-won smiled. " We'll be in groups so nothing to fear. "

Still, I could see Dongwoo was a bit skeptical but glad at what he heard. I, myself, is also excited for said booth and couldn't wait to go there. We all ate while happily conversing with one another.
