10 things you should now before reading Chased by A Wolf

Thank you so much for choosing my story! I'm so excited that you're stepping into the world I have created for this story. 

There are a couple of things I think you'd like to know before reading. In this world:

1. There is no Moon Goddess. 

2. Werewolves don't have two personas in them, meaning their wolf is not a separate persona from their human form.  So no "wolf names".

3. Mind link works only between mates who have a working mate bond. (Mate bond is formed when one of the mates bears a mark. A mark doesn't have to be on the neck, but it often is.)

4.  A human being cannot be turned into a werewolf. One can only be a born werewolf. 

5. Only a pure werewolf can shift into its wolf form.

6. Pure werewolves shift for the first time when they are full grown. So not everyone shift for example on their 18th birthday. It usually happens between ages 16 and 19.

7. Pure werewolves can have special abilities. For example, there are alphas, trackers and so on.

8. Silver is dangerous. 

9. Werewolves struggle to find balance with their human and wolf sides. The wolf side can be quite inhumane and not aligned with human norms, ideals, and virtues. 

10. Werewolves are not immortal. They heal easy but can be killed.

I can't believe I started writing this story 4 years ago! Time flies. I still haven't found the time to edit it properly. If you'll find mistakes and errors, please let me know! I'll start to edit this slowly. You might notice, English is not my first language nor do I live in the US. If you notice something weird culturally, I'd like to hear about it so I can edit that part.

In this story, I use the 3rd person narrative and often free indirect speech.
