After spending time in Paris, the Halsteads head back to the US. Instead of heading back to Chicago, they fly to Aspen, Colorado.

The Uber pulls into a driveway that leads to a house. "Where are we going?" Halstead asks her. "To our house," Shaylynn tells him. "House?" Halstead questions. "Yes, my Stepfather purchased a house here for him and my Mom for after he retired from the Marines. But well you know the rest," she says looking down at her lap. The Uber stops in front of the house and the driver gets out to get their luggage.

Halstead gets out and walks over to Shaylynn's side, opens the door and helps her out with Jacquelyn following her. He puts his arm around her waist, "I'm sorry," he whispers into her ear. Shaylynn looks at him, smiles then kisses him on the cheek.
Unlocking the door, Shaylynn opens it. Jacquelyn runs inside followed by Shaylynn then Halstead.

"Go ahead and look around," Shaylynn tells him, "I'll wait for the driver." Halstead kisses her and goes off to explore.
