today was the day, when everything would fall into place and become the perfect opportunity for archie andrews to escape from prison.
you were waiting outside the gutter with kevin, keeping watch of any guards coming your way as archie was going to be crawling through the vent any second now.
"god, i hope everything falls into place." you say, pacing around nervously as your breathing continues to increase. kevin looks over at you and takes your hand in his, squeezing it and giving you a reassuring look without any words.
soon enough, a few grunts come from the gutter and you start seeing the figure of a person coming closer and closer through the gap. "archie?"
"y/n, kevin?" he grunts as he stretches out his arms for you to help him get out the vent, you and kevin both heave him out using all your strength and finally he comes free.
"oh my god, archie." you look at his broken down figure, blood stained and bruised, you give him a tight hug. he groans from the pressure and so you adjust before getting interrupted by kevin.
"guys, we need to hurry or else we'll get caught."
