She flintched at Carlos's sudden raise in his voice , almost stumbling down her own feet . She looked away , picking up her daze , "N-Nothing .." She shuttered , avoiding our burning gaze .
"Doesn't looked like 'nothing' to me . " Carlos snapped , holding her on the throat again . Damn , fuvk the mating bond , they looked nothing like mates .

Aubrey's P.O.V
Ouch . That's what my mind told me as soon as u woke up . Well mentally woke up , but my eye lids were still sealed tight .
I don't know how long I'd laid down but damn my back hurts like hell and I feel so old . The familiar beeping sound stepped in as I started to gain consciousness .
The sweet smell of apple and mint flared my nostrils , reminding me of .. someone . It's there , but I just can't quite put my finger on it .
Slowly forcing my eyes open , I gasped . I'm laying in a hospital bed with what seemed like a million tubes and needles poking straight into my arms . An oxygen mask covered half my face and there's beeping sound coming from a machine beside my bed .
Where the hell am I ?
I examined the room carefully , trying to trace back the pieces of why I'm here .
The room was grand , royal to be exact . It's huge , it's just... WHO THE HELL KIDNAPPED ME ?!
"you're awake . " A sound rang in my mind suddenly , catching me off guard . I quickly scanned across the room for the presence of somebody , but there's no one there .
Wh- owh I see where it's going , I must be nuts . That's why I'm in a hospital ?
"And you've lost half your memory ? " She added .
Okay this is going way too creepy . Like seriously ? I'm having one sided conversations with myself ? Have I lost a nerve or something ?
"I'm your wolf Aubrey , try to remember something , ANYTHING . "
Wolf ? I have a ... Wolf ? What is this ? Twilight ?
"Something similar , I'm Violette , your wolf , try remembering .. " She trailed off , Sounding broken all of a sudden .
Violette ? Wait .. that sounds familiar ..
"Cara ? " A deep masculine voice rang , followed by the squeak of a door opening . My heartbeat raced for no reason at all , afraid of what's going to happen next .
'Mate . ' Violette howled , the familiar feeling rushed through me . So this had happened before ?
I watch as the footsteps inched closer towards my bed . "Cara ? "
My breath caught my throat almost instantly . A muscular hunk stood by my bed , his gaze locked on mine . The roses in his hands dropped , in exchange of his rushed tone .
"SOMEONE CALL THE DOCTOR ! " he yelled , rushing towards me as soon as our eyes came in contact .
"Cara are you okay ? How do you feel ? Does it hurt ? Do you need wate- " he reaced out to touch me but I flintched , avoiding his touch .
"Who are you ? " I squeaked , not feeling comfortable at all .
"You.. I'm Zack , cara . " He gave out a are-you-kidding-me awkward laugh . He tried to reach for me again , but i flintched again . Who is he and why is he trying to touch me ?
"I-I'm sorry ..? " I shuttered , shifting uncomfortably .
"Ow.. " I hissed , moved the wrong needle I guess . Damn what's with the tubes and pointy stuffs ? What am I ? Biology experiment ?
