Chapter 10- The History I Wasnt Allowed to Know

"How exactly do you feel around me ? " He cocked his brows , smirking back at me .

The huge lump in my throat caught my words . "I-I uh.. did I just say that ? Well you must've misheard , I was talking about the weather . Look , the sun made my skin feel like burning coals . " I scratched the back of my neck , lowering my gaze down to my feet .

"Weather ? Seriously ? "He chuckled , "Well that's cute . "

I blushed 50 shades of red and I bet my cheeks were burning already . "Yeah.. the weather ." I mumbled .

"c'mon , we're late for work ." he freshened up a bit , pulling his tux , straightening the cramped part at the side , before placing his hands at the small of my back .

I was going to move my legs in sync with him until something striked into my mind.

Quickly pushing him away , I tried my best to ignore the sparks that appears everytime I touched him . "I quit Mr.Federico ." I said in a calm and determination is heard loud and clear .

He looked at me with a blank expression . "Your request here , is not approved ." His lips formed a tight line , his eyes run cold , sending shivers down my spine .

"You hadn't answer my question Aubrey , why would you resign ?" He looked right into my eyes , looking for answers .

I stared back at his . " Because , " I paused , "If I stay , I'll be breaking the company's rule ."

His lips curled upwards ,"What rule to be exact ?"

My heart went 'Thump Thump Thump Thump ' when he started to lean forward , closing the distance between us .

We gained a few audience but I have a bigger problem to worry about . What should I tell him ?! That I'm going to violate every rule by crushing on my boss?!

"I uh .. I .. " I shuttered , avoiding his burning gaze .

"You..? " He asked huskily , he'd already had me pressed against the wall of the building , his arms pinning me down .

I gulped , curling my toes eventhough it's not visible under my converse shoes.

"I.. Think I have.. uh .. feelings towards my colleague .. It's against the rule right ?" Swallowing my fear , I looked straight into his eyes .

He clentched his teeth and his jaw tightened . Owh oh , Boss on fire .

"It's wrong in so many angles muffin , it's breaking every single possible rule there is . " He said in a deadly serious tone . "Say , who is this 'colleague' that I should fire ?"

I gulped , Okay this is bad . But seriously though , if I told him that the 'colleague' is no other than him , what happens?

"What?! WHY WOULD YOU FIRE SOMEONE SO INNOCENT?" I mean , I'm pretty sure I said that I had a crush on someone , not the other way round .

"Well , I blame him for seducing my secretary . That is against the rules ." He stared straight faced , his eyes turned cold and the anger that's is raging could be sensed from far .

He's really scaring me now. What ?!

"Well.. uhm ... " I took a deep breath . That's it . I'll just admit it and he'll approve my resignment so that I will never see him again , there's nothing to loose Aubrey . "ItsYouSoItWrongIKnowSoI'llPretendThatIDidn'tSayAnythingBye." I slurred , turning around ran away .

I turned around , seeing nothing but him frozen In place , his eyes were locked on the wall that I was pressed against earlier .

"You're so screwed Aubrey. Not only you humiliated yourself , you'd also confused your undying love towards your BOSS. Ha . There's a bullet in your nightstand , use it before it's too late ." I murmured towards myself .
