Thanksgiving night was okay, i think Valerie's parents liked me and they were happy i was such a responsible guy with my grades and my swimming team. There were spanish conversations here and there and either i ignored them or Valerie translated them to me.

Food was amazing, i had never tried colombian food before and i definitely loved it. Valerie's mom combined traditional thanksgiving dishes with colombian's and it was the best combination i've ever tasted

After eating we all went to the mall to check the black friday sales and even though i didn't get anything from me it was fun to see Jason going crazy about buying toys, and helping valerie choose lingerie that i was going to enjoy seeing her wearing once we were back at stanford.

When we arrived back at home, everyone went to bed pretty much exhausted. I went to the guest room and knocked off my shoes, and walked around my room and looked at some pictures hanging on the wall, some of them were of Valerie as a baby and i chuckled, i took a picture of it with my phone cuz she looked absolutely adorable in them. It was like every second that passed i was falling deeper and deeper for her.

I woke up the next morning, not so early since we went to bed pretty late. I got showered and brushed my teeth and walked outside of the guest bedroom I was staying in.

Jason was in the living room in his Xbox and he said hi to me in the sweetest voice, Valerie's little nephew was so cute and fun to be around with.

I walked to the kitchen hoping to find Valerie there with her sister and mother, but the 2 ladies were alone and greeted me when I walked in

"good morning ladies" I said trying to sound charming, I really needed them to like me

"Hi Noah" Valerie's sister said and shot me a smile "have some breakfast" she said pointing at a tray of sandwiches that were served. I smiled at her and took one of them

"where did my daughter go to? She took my car" her mom said and I frowned, Valerie didn't tell me anything about it

"I-I.. I honestly don't know" I said still frowning, why would she leave and leave me here alone? I mean... It is quite awkward for me to be here without her

Apparently her sister noticed I was a little uncomfortable and placed a hand on my shoulder "why don't you go to the garage and help my dad fix his motorcycle?" a motorcycle? He didn't seem like the type of man to have one, but honestly I had nothing else to do.

I nodded to her and walked in the garage to find Valerie's father frustrated while trying to turn it on. I worked fixing cars for a couple of months back in high school maybe I could be useful after all.

I offered my help and he looked at me weirded out, Valerie did say her father was going to be a little jealous about us. I wondered where she was, why didn't she tell me that she was leaving?

Her father showed me the bike and what he thought happened to it. I heard carefully and we started him seeing what we could do.

We had been talking for hours, his favorite baseball team was same as mine and we were just bonding over talking about it. I told him about my swimming team, my major, what Valerie told me that would impress him. I'm glad he was finally approving of me.

John's (Valerie's father) eyes lit up when we heard the melodic sound of the motorcycle engine finally running, we had been talking and fixing the bike for hours that when it finally Worked he came and hugged me "thank you Noah, you have no idea how long I've been trying to fix this old thing" he said chuckling and left the garage quickly to tell his wife he Finally fixed it

I checked my phone and it was 4 pm already, and I sti hadn't heard from Valerie, I sighed and pressed her contact to text her "monkey, I'm worried, where are you? "

I put my phone back i my pocket after a few minutes staring at the screen and getting no response. I walked out and Jason was still in his xbox playing fifa

"hey little buddy, let's go outside and we'll play real life fifa" I offered and he scratched the back of his head

"I hate soccer, I suck!" he whined but I chuckled and stood in front of the screen to not let him. Olay

"cmon, you've been playing all day, we'll come back later to play something else, yes? " the boy sighed and nodded defeated

"okay, but you have to teach me how to be better" he complained and I nodded, walking to the backyard and grabbing a ball I found around.

We starting playing to shot the ball and the other guards, and later John joined us, the both of us trying to teach tricks to Jason and make him better at it.

I was guarding and Jason made a goal, he ran and screamed in happiness "grandpa!!! Did you see it? I won again! Noah you suck " he giggled sticking his tongue out to me and i chucked.

I felt a car parking near the back door and I saw Valerie walking out of it. She seemed serious. Her nose had a tint of red and there was a little dark tint near her eyes. She was definitely crying a while ago.

"hey everyone" she said walking through the fence door and closing it. She wasn't looking at me and she walked straight inside

Well... That was weird, what did I do now?

I sighed and walked behind her and when we were inside I gently held her hand to stop her from walking

"Hey monkey, are you okay? " I asked frowning, knowing she was crying really worried me

"yeah, I'm fine" she said trying to take her hand away from mine

"where were you all day?" I said sighing cuz it was obvious she ignored my Messages

"around. Are we done with the questionnaire? Can I go now? " she answered and I glared at her for avoiding the question. I let go of her hand and she didn't hesitate to walk away and go upstairs. Probably to her room. What was wrong with her. She was being so cold to me and i literally didn't do anything

I groaned and left to the guest room too where I was staying. I really didn't want to go out and keep playing soccer like I was okay. Why was she being like this? Why was she suddenly so cold to me? What if she was the one who did something? I mean she was the one outside a day and didn't want to tell me where she was.

What if she had gone out to meet Sebastián and they worked things out?

My head was spinning and I couldn't get that very thought out of my head.

What if seeing Sebastián made her remember her feelings for him?
