Chapter 24: The Ball

~ Savannah ~

The ball is today.

Grand Finals was just a week ago but still is the topic until now.

People said Darren should win.And I for a fact,AGREE!

I mean the title should be his but the prize could be Lyca's.

When I got home from the Grand Finals I ranted to the max until I fell asleep.

"C'mon!Salon time babehhhhh!" Therese burst into the room.

I got up immediately with a baseball bat in my hands.

What? I played baseball before.

"B-but h-h-how- I got keys to your house" she explained.

"How?" I asked standing up.

"Well,I made a duplicate key since I stole your key months ago which resulted to you climbing up the ladder to your room but failed and made you sleep outside in the cold" Therese said out of breathe.

"In short,You made a duplicate and forgot to give it back that day" I giggled.

"Let's just go" she said annoyed and stormed out of the room.

I laughed and changed into a button up blue and white checkered polo tucked in a black skater skirt and slippers.

"Get in the car loser!" Therese yelled at me from the car, honking the horn.

"Whatever Regina!" I teased and walked to the car.

"Salon" Therese said to the driver who nodded and drove to the salon.

"So,Do you have your dress and accessories?" Therese asked.

I nodded and showed her the bag.

"We're here!" The driver said. What can I say? The diver drives like the Fast and the Furious.

I remembered the first time I rode with Darren whose cousin drove us to McDo.

~ flashback ~

"We're getting burgers and fries!" Me and Darren cheered happily.

"Okay umm so I'll drive" Darren's cousin came in.

"I pray that we will live" Darren teased his cousin who ignored him and started the car.

Tito daddy went inside and sat in the front and told Alana,Darren's cousin,to start driving.

"Okay so,Like this?" She asked Tito then ran over Darren's mailbox.

"Oops! Umm" Then she ran over my mailbox.

Tito sighed loudly and massaged his temples.

"Sorry!" Alana said and finally got the hang of it.

When we were out of the village and into the busy streets,Alana was rather tempted to drive like the professionals.
