'everybody quite please, I know it's almost prom but just pay attention please' The teacher yelled over the loud sound of everybody talking

'shit he's in a bad mood' Dylan mumbled

'guess why' I chuckled

'oh I need to ask you something after class' Dylan said looking at me

'sure' I knotted and the teacher started to talk about plants or something. I didn't really paid attention, my mind was to occupied by prom.

Junior Prom was this night and I was very excited. Not about everybody seeing me in a dress, well I guess it's not weird anymore I have worn a dress to school e few times now. But still it's not my favorite thing.

I'm going with Dylan and Rose was asked by this cute guy in her Biology class that se has been dating for a month now. So tonight we are going to her house and getting ready there. Nina wanted to be there so she's coming over too.

Dylan and Rose's date who's name is Jesse will pick us up then and we'll go to prom.

Sounds fantastic right. Well it is.

'so what was your question' I say when we arrive at my locker

'so it's really important and kind of a big deal' he said a bit nervous

'yeah okay' I say with frowned eyebrows

'so when my grandma went to the real prom with my grandpa she wore this necklace, and my mom wore it too and I know this is not our last prom but will you wear it too' he opens his hand. He's holding a silver necklace with a little jewel on the hanger.

'yes of course' I smile

'yes, okay well it's a diamond and it's really important to my mom and me'

'I'll be careful' I make sure and he smiles, then he gives me an kiss and a hug

'well can I put in on' he asks

'sure' I turn around and hold my hair up so he can put it on me

'so how does it look' I turn around and put on my fanciest face

'fantastic' he chuckles

'hello cuties' Rose greets us and I turn towards her

'look what I am going to wear tonight' I say pointing at my necklace

'oh wow, it's beautiful' Rose mumbles

'right, Dylan's grandma wore it to her prom and Nina to hers and now I'm wearing it' I tell her

'this is like the cutest thing ever' she smiles to Dylan

'what's cute' Jesse attends the club

'Maddie's necklace, Dylan's grandma wore it to her prom and his mom too and now Mads is wearing it' Rose explains after giving him a kiss.

'ah dude, now I've got to top that' Jesse wines to Dylan. Rose actually met Jesse through Dylan because they are friends.

'oh don't worry, your face is enough' Rose chuckles

'ahh' I mumble

'well I'm going to pick you up at 8, see you then' Jesse gives Rose another kiss

'see you baby girl' Jesse then walks away

'well I'm going home' Dylan says after Jesse's gone
