I still held her hand. Even though she was asleep for hours now. I just won't let her go.

When I saw a girl running across the street and dropping herself on that bench my instinct said that I should stop so I did. And when I saw it was Maddie I just.. my heart kind of stopped..

I yawn again, I think I've been here for like 5 hours just watching her fall asleep. Even when she's beaten up she's pretty, geez Maddie. What are you doing to me.

'hey' a tired voice said. My eyes immediately looked at Maddie but she was still asleep.

'who is that' I turned around and saw my older sister, Sadie. she was over for the weekend but I never got to say hi because of Maddie.

'hi' I said cracking a smile. I used to hate my sister but now I miss her when she's away. She goes to collage so she had to leave the house.

'oh my god what happened to her' she says when she sees Maddie's face

'I don't know but I saw her running across the street and crying so I stopped and took her home' I explained to her

'so you don't know her' she kneeled next to her and laid her hand on Maddie's forehead

'I do, we are friends' she looks at me with a raised her eyebrows

'you are never just friends with a girl' I chuckled

'okay I like her, but the point is that I know her home situation is not good' I knew I could be honest to her, she wouldn't tell her.

'did she tell you what her situation is'

'no but when I asked her if maybe we could study at her house she said no. and besides that she is always alone and always has head down' I explain

'how long has she been here' Sadie said after a while

'since like half past 5'

'Dylan, it is 3 AM' she scoffed and I knotted

'I'm just not leaving her side'

'you must really like her then' Sadie said and again I knotted

'well when she's awake I'll take care of her so you can sleep' She is in collage to become a doctor so she knows what to so

Sadie stans up and walks away but I grab her hand

P.O.V Maddie

Slowly I wake up and pain spreads throughout my whole body. It takes a second for me to realize where I am and what happened.

I turn my head to the side to find Dylan sleeping while holding my hand. To be honest he looks actually pretty cute.

Then I realize that it is probably in the morning and I slept at Dylan's house.

Shit

I try to get up but everything in my body is sore

'fuck' I curse under my breath and I fall back on the bed

'good morning' Dylan suddenly said with an sleepy voice. Which is actually pretty hot.

Shit Maddie, focus

'good morning, I have to go' I try again to get up but I fall back again

'Mads, just lay down. My sister is home. She knows what to do' he lays his hand on my shoulder

'I'll get her' he stands up and walks through the door

Maddie, just get the fuck up and walk away. You are not going to stay at his house any longer

'hello' a pretty girl with the same ocean eyes as Dylan comes into the room

'hello' I whisper

'I'm Sadie and you got beaten up' she says happy

Why is she so happy, girl you don't even know what happened to me

Look you don't have to tell me what happened, I'm just going to look if you should go to the doctor or if you can just go home' She takes of my blanket

'can you take of you sweater' Sadie asks

'excuse me' I ask kind of offended

'do you have a t shirt underneath' I shake my head

'wait let me get one of my shirts' she walks out of the room and I see Dylan standing in the hallway. He yawns and rubs his eyes

'here you go' Sadie comes back into the room with an black shirt

'okay, can you close the door' I ask and she knots.

She leaves and closes the door. I take my sweater up and look at my bruised arms

Shit now she's going to see that

I quickly put on her shirt and say that she can come in

'oh wow, you are bruised' Sadie says slowly

'look I'm going to touch your arms and you need to say if it hurts' I knot and she starts touching my hands. With every bruise she touches I say ouch and she looks at me worried.

'I know you probably don't want to do it but you need to take of you jeans, I'm a doctor in training so I know what I'm doing' she says and I sight

'I'll grab one off my jogging pants so you can put those on after I looked but now you just need to take of you jeans'

When she walks away I take off my jeans, which really hurts.

'okay, I'll do the same thing' she starts touching my legs and when she is at my ankle it really hurts

'shit that hurts' I curse harder then I wanted.

After moving It really painfully she says she thinks it is broken

'what' I say shocked, I knew they kicked hard but not this hard.

'look we have to go to the hospital, you can put the pants on. Dylan and I will take you'

But I hardly have any money, how am is supposed to pay a cast.

'oh shit' I hear Dylan curse really hard outside of the door

'I'm so sorry' Dylan opens the door while I'm trying to stand up

'it's okay' I say while cursing under my breath 'it's not you fault'

'let me help you' he helps me up and I hop to the stairs

'can I lift you' Dylan asks nicely

'no' I hop down the stairs but when I almost fall Dylan grabs me and lifts me anyway

'look what I found' Sadie says while she points at the wheelchair in front of her

'you have to' Dylan cuts me off and puts me in the wheelchair

'let's go then' Sadie smiles and I cross my arms
