people quench thirst,
and blood thirsty revenge
even it's cold blooded
murder on the street
at 2 a.m. in the morningthere is no space for love
in their hearts
there's no light anywhere
in their soulsall they care about
is revenge
revenge even as extreme
as stripping a child
from their mother
Or fathershe tries her best
forgiving and forgetting
loving without no reason,
unconditionally.yet one day,
she found it hard to keep her cool,
as this boy had broken
the one thing she had
left of her motherher heart,
it was broken
and bleeding -
yet she stayed true
to her moralsshe forgave him,
even though it hurt
she forgave him,
and didn't take the route most would
she didn't choose revengethe next day
he approached her,
and questioned her,
why she didn't retaliate
why she didn't seek revengeshe answered;
"Hate cannot
drive out hate,The same way
Darkness cannot
drive out darkness.only love can do that,
the same way only light
can drive out darkness."
