She said
To him
As they were
Mutually conversing
"Fine! I will!"
As stubborn
As a mother
He stood firm
On the ground
By this time
There were
Tears
On his beautifully
Carved face
"But always
Remember
That I will always
Fucking love you."
He turned
And he left
Not because he
Was done
Not because he
Was foolish
But because
He just wanted
Her to be
Happy
And if it meant
Staying away
Then that's
Exactly
What he would
Do.
