She was so close
Yet was so far away
She was there,
But I let her slip away
Into the darkness' fold
Forever and ever
I wish I hadn't done that
I wish I had never
She's standing right in front of me
But her mind is in another galaxy
This is my fault
I let her slip away
Now she cries no tears
She smiles no more
She frowns no more
She laughs no more
She wasn't strong enough
And so succumbed into the darkness
And it was all because
I let her go
