I wished upon
A wishing star
To help it
Guide me straight
I was lost
Or so I thought
And needed
To control the weight.
Then after all these restless nights
And repeated wishing
On wishing stars,
One night
The wind came crashing in
It conveyed one message
I needed to
Remind myself
- one I had always ever forgot.
They softly whispered
"Follow your dreams
They know the way"
And that is how I know
Which way to go
And which way
to not.
