Being brutally honest,
I guess I love my scars.
They stayed with me,
Longer than many people have.
I guess I love my scars,
That I earned on the battlefield.
Resembling honour,dignity, strife,
And a reminder of who I came to be.
I guess I love my scars,
Because they show
Exactly what I've been through
And show I stayed alive.
So no, I don't hate my scars,
For all you asking.
Because my scars,
Carry deeper,
Meanings,
That some people,
Just cannot have.
