Dunya - This World
Jannah - Paradise*this poem is written through the perspective of a Muslimah girl. a lot of girls struggle to cope with the islamaphobia problem, alongside the Muslim Ummah. May Allah grant the Ummah peace and strength to live through this tragic time 💕
It's just a
deceived worldeveryone judged
for things they shouldn't
what can I say?
what can I do?cuz it's just a
deceiving lifeyou ain't gonna survive
I'm telling ya nowthis is the life of the dunya
I told myself,
ignoring everyone
around mewho said it was
goin' to be easy?
who said it wasn't
goin' to be tough?just have to keep
my faith safe and
elevate higher on
my path to Jannahshut up and take that
stupid shit off your headI turned around
to look at them
those who made fun
of my HijabI rolled my eyes
expressing confidence
when really
I was breakingjust gave them
a look of distaste,
flicked my hijab
over my shoulder
And held my head highGet away from me! Away!
You undignified terrorist!let the tears flow down my cheeks
cuz these tears are temporary
I whisper to myself
they show i'm effing human
and that I have a soulcuz humans are
known for releasing
hypocrisy
for inflicting harm
on their ownwhat a world this is
but you gotta with live it
with the stares and the whispers
cuz this? this is;the life of the
Dunya.---
A/N
No lies, but I was kinda apprehensive to post this because of the hate thrown in Muslims. But I looked at this today and thought
"What do I have to loose?" And I'm telling you; it's not much.So go on haters, hate. Do what you do best. Yeah, it might hit a nerve or so, but so what? In the end, I'm gonna be the stronger one in the long run, not you.
So don't let anyone let you down. You matter. 💕♥️
