Smile at that lady,
Who lives across the street.
Smile at the old man,
And make his day complete.
Smile through your downfall,
Smile through your defeat.
Smile through the heartache
And smile along the beat.
Smile at the foreigners,
That don't know where to go.
Smile at the strangers,
You meet to and fro.
All you have to do,
Not using a lot of muscles,
To make someone's day,
Just a little more bearable.
Just smile.
