chapter 1: arriving in Melbourne

CHAPTER ONE: ARRIVING IN MELBOURNE




"Flight NZMEL232BB, I repeat MZMEL232BB will be departing to Melbourne Australia in 15minuets. We are missing 4 passengers: Michelle, Taylor, Lachlan & Reece Lentils. We will leave the boarding gates open, but they will close very soon! So HUURY!" As we ran through the airport this is what we heard over and over again through the speakers.




"Mum that's us! Lets hurry" I yelled at Mum. We started sprinting, I was leading with Lachlan, Mum & Reece behind me. We were nearly there. So close...










"Alright passengers I'm sorry for the delay. This is your captin speaking, please insure your seatbelts are done up correcty prepare for takeoff in approximately 5 minuets..." As we quickly chucked the bags we were holding in the departments above the seats, we then sat down and let out a breath.

"Bags this room!" I hear Reece yell from downstairs.




"And this is mine" I whispear to myself in amazingment as I walk in to my new room.




My new room was perfect.




-It was upstairs




-It had a large wardrope




-there was a window seat (omg I've wanted one since I was 5)




-It would fit a double bed in her and have extra room




-I even had my own bathroom!




"You like your room?" Mum asked behind me from the door way.




"OMG. Yes Mum I love it, thankyou so much!!" I said hugging her.




I had a feeling I was gonna like Melbourne after all. "Oh and I've enrolled you at Penola Catholic College , its around the corner. We'll buy your uniform tomorrow, and you'll start on Monday Ok?"




"Ok Mum sounds good"
