My heart was racing in nervous anxiety as I stare off into the crowd of reporters.   I lean on the podium and lick my lips,  before my eyes flickered to the piece of paper laid out in front of me.

"Before I begin I would like to apologize for the inconvenience I have caused you all by faking my death, but I assure you all it was all necessary due to circumstances I do not wish to discuss." Taking a deep breath and slowly letting it go,  while tugging at the collar my white button down,  I swallow down the disgust I felt as I peaked down at the next few lines scrawled on the paper.

"I felt that this was best said by me.   Three days ago,  we learned that my father had died from a stroke. It is unfortunate and we are deeply saddened by his tragic death and ask that you respect our privacy." I paused briefly. looking out into my crowd for dramatic effect.

Looking down again,  I continue,   "Also, the queen suffered from a heart attack on the same day and has become very sick as a result she has become incapable of being the Queen.  She asks personally that you allow her the privacy that she needs to heal. "

Mindlessly,  my lips turn up in a smile as I came to the part of the speech that I was excited about telling.  "I would also like to announce the birth of her royal highness princess Aria Emelia of Wales. " I smirk at the title before I look back towards everyone gawking at me.  "Now I am open to questions." I point to one of the reporters,  I recognize as the palace's corresponder.

She stood up with a note pad in her hand.  "Your highness who is the mother of this child? " she asks.

"Jennifer Turner,  a former royal advisor, " I answer.

Satsified with my answer she took her seat with an elated smile. I turn my face away from her to point out another reporter.

"Prince Connor,  what are your intentions towards Ms. Turner? " The guy asks.

"I'm going to marry her.   We're engaged at the moment and when my divorce from Caitlyn finally goes through we will begin to plan our wedding. " The guy sat down and began to talk to the person beside me.

I point out someone else and watch as he stood up.  I recognize him as a reporter from the Sun.  "How long have you and Ms. Turner known eachother?  Is she the reason Ms. Caitlyn are getting a divorce?"

"Yes and also I realized that I was not in love Caitlyn.  She was more so the push I needed to walk away. We began seeing eachother around three years ago"

Suddenly the press room erupted in loud chaos as everyone began to speak at once.

"Settle down,  settle down.  One question at a time. " I quickly manage to calm the crowd, before I pointed out the final person.

She stood and flipped her platinum blond hair over her shoulder in dramatic effect.

"Your highness what does this mean for the country?  Will you become king? "

I take a deep breath and smile weakly.  "Yes,  I will become King. "

Once again the crowd erupted in loud chatter as they threw questions at me left and right.   I held up my hand in order to calm them down,  but they ignored me.

"How is Caitlyn taking it? "

"How is Princess Emily of Cambridge handling it? "

"No further questions, " I announced and backed away from the podium as they continued to fire questions at me.  I turned around and walked back into St.  Mary's hospital where Jennifer was located.  We were in a private wing.  My grandmother was over in the cardiology part which was a little less private.
