I yawn, stretching, my eyes searching the room.  I was at my house and not Connor's apartment.  I didn't want to over stay my welcome so I left.  He hadn't been home for a week now because he had business in Africa to take care of.

I heard sounds coming from my kitchen and instinctively went on alert. Reaching for the closest object I slipped out my bed.  With the clock in hand I slowly made my way towards the door. I was going to close it and lock it, and then call the cops.  Before I could do that a dark figure popped up in front of me and I jumped back frightened.  In reaction I began beating whoever it was with the clock.

"Hey! Hey, Calm down its just me!" A familiar voice exclaimed. I quickly stopped the beating, but hit him on the arm with my hand.

"Connor, what the hell are you doing here?" I yell annoyed.

"I just got back from Africa and I missed you," he mumbled, his hands fisted at his side.

"That's sweet, but you should be home.  How did you even get in?"

"Your garage door was unlocked.  I locked it behind me.  Phillip is in your

kitchen guarding the door. I had to bring one of them. "

"Are you just ignoring me? Connor go home," I urged drawing out a deep breath.

"No, I'm really tired and I can't sleep  without you in my arms.  I haven't slept in a while."

"Connor..." I sigh closing my eyes. "We can't keep this up.  We're going to get caught."

"No, we won't," he whispered cupping my face. I look up at him defeated.  I couldn't help but fall for it, because, even if I tried to deny it, I was in love with him.  In a world of politics, affairs and deceit and I found him. I hated being the other woman, I hated seeing him with her, but I also hated waking up withot his arms wrapped around me or not hearing him say, I love you to me.

I didn't feel like the other woman.  I felt important. Loved.  Setting my lips in a thin line I glare up at him.

"I love you," He muttered, caressing my cheek. The corners of my lips formed a smile and I blushed.

"Let's go to bed," I say, turning around and taking his hand, leading him towards my bed. I let go of his hands and climbed into the bed.  He followed behind me, laying next to me.

"What the—"

"Hell," Connor finished for me.  I was sitting at the dining table in the Palace.  His grandmother had left to do something at children's benefit.  Connor, Caitlyn and I were all at Buckingham discussing business.  You wouldn't even guess that Caitlyn knew about our affair because she didn't act like it.  She spoke to me, a bright smile always on her face and we weren't in front of cameras.

Maybe she was trying to forget.  If only it was that easy. I slammed the papers on the table in front of me and glared across the table at Connor.

He was staring at his phone in confusion and disbelief. "What is this?" He said.  He didn't show us what he was referring to but I had a good feeling I already knew what it was.

"Who is Beverly Thompson?" I ask.

"She's someone I knew a long time ago," He explains truthfully.

"She's one of your many affairs, am I correct?" Caitlyn says bored.  "I think out of all of your whores I like Jenny the best.  At least she makes me look good."

"Can you not Caitlyn? Don't call Jennifer a whore because she's not."

"You're pathetic Connor and obviously stupid.  Your father is probably on his way and he's going to take away your crown," Caitlyn smirked.
