Some days I wish I was dead.
The words that have been said.
The way it got so twisted,
From your outside view,
I don't even know how you saw it,
It's not true.
You're telling me something I didn't even know.
Some days I wish I was dead,
Because I don't appear to you,
Like I truly am.
I never thought you would think so low.
Do you honestly think that is me?
I haven't taken a step out of line,
Stayed in my lane,
And moving along,
And now I don't know what exactly I am to you,
Because I realize,
You do think of me so,
You think so far down upon this soul,
Don't you know
Some days I wish I was dead,
And you can't even see the colors that truly shine off my soul.
Some days I wish I was dead,
Because I never dare,
Do the things you have let all the people know,
Some days I wish I was dead,
But now how to cope is all automatic,
Driven by makeshift pilots,
Can't even believe it.
Some days I wish I was dead,
And I don't even mean it.
