My dearest friends,

Keep careful watch of who you are,

So you don't lose it,

Because once its lost you can't find it.

If this is to end in fire,

I might as well be there for you.

I can still try for you,

But I cry because of you.

If this is to end in tears,

I am here,

Listening to your story,

I can't tell you,

You got it wrong,

So I will listen to you,

While I still can,

Because here soon your leaving.

I hope you will remember,

Not me,

But who I was to you.

I hope I will never forget,

Your smile,

Though you rarely do anymore,

Your laugh,

Though all my jokes aren't funny.

I can't watch this thing crumble into nothing,

So I will stay just a bit longer,

Then,

Just maybe,

I will leave me.

When you don't need me,

Not anymore,

but who knows.
