What if it was today?
Today someone took their own life.
Would it make a difference,
If it was someone you knew?
Someone you didn't?
Would it make a difference,
Someone close to you?
Someone far?
Would it make a difference,
Someone you didn't expect?
Someone you did?
Would it make a difference,
Why?
You ask?
It matters if it makes a difference.
How?
You ask?
Because,
That difference could cause you to realize the difference,
One that helps.
One that doesn't.
And still, they don't know a thing about that difference.
