Chapter 28

"Uh, yeah, so I invited them, because I thought it would be nice to, you know, catch up a bit?" I bit my lip and just stared at Harry, just watching as he was trying his best to control his emotions. Zayn and Cindy weren't that bad anymore, and Harry had nothing to fear, not anymore.

"Well, I guess if you feel that they are welcomed into our home, then they probably are that" he just stated quietly and I placed my hand on his thigh, squeezing it gently and mouthing thank you when he looked at me. A small smile appeared to his lips and I couldn't help but smile myself.

We drove back home and I began preparing food for the three of us, even though my pregnancy isn't even that far yet, I'm hungry as a horse, I could eat the whole world.

Harry came to help me with cooking, we made eggs and bacon together, and there wasn't any sign of his frustration with Zayn, even though they have moverd nearby, and are coming for dinner one night, doesn't mean we're gonna be best friends or anything like that.

"Oh, and Zayn informed me that they have moved in together, somewhere near us. And they're engaged" I blurted out and Harry's eyes widened, he stared at me in confusion and took his lip piercing between his teeth.

"What the fuck" escaped from his mouth and I chuckled, I don't know what shocked him that much, but I'm happy for them, I really am. It's great that now Cindy isn't longing for Harry and Zayn is.. Well he's just Zayn and happy now. At least I hope so.

Harry shook his head and continued frying the bacon and I was trying to fry the eggs, but Harry did that eventually too, what a gentleman. I sat next to the table and just stared at my ring finger and the beautiful ring on it, I'm still pretty shocked about his proposal.

Harry Styles, the man who not much than half a year ago said that he didn't want kids, he didn't want to get married, was now going to be a father and asked me to marry him in the future. Shocker one.

I set the table when Harry was ready with the food, and kissed him thank you, I was supposed to cook and do all the stuff, but he ended up doing it all, I only went to the store and got the groceries. He has changed so much from what he was and I'm proud, he's helpful, not as lazy as he used to be and I'm starting to believe that he's a man now.

I just stared at him while eating, some people might find it scary but to me, I was admiring Harry, I was admiring his features, taking in every little detail of him, just staring at his complete beautiful-ness, his perfect being. He's everything I was, everything I am, everything I will ever be.

"What?" a small smile curved to his lips and I laughed.

"I just love you so much, I can't even explain it"

"Well, that makes two of us" he smiled back and I continued eating, I was getting full of the delicious food, but I still craved some more of it, the pros and cons of being pregnant.

Harry's phone started ringing and he excused himself and went to our bedroom to talk in private. I took our dirty dishes and set them to the dishwasher, also cleaning the leftovers to the fridge. I couldn't help but wonder, who it was, since Harry never really had a problem with talking in phone infront of me.

I decided to eavesdrop a little bit so I sneaked behind the door and heard him talking.

"..what? No! She's pregnant, I'm not taking her with me to that stupid party of yours. Yes, yes, I'll be there now please can I enjoy of my day with her? I'll see you tonight"

I furrowed my eyebrows as soon as I heard the word party and he was probably ending the call very soon so I quickly made my way to the nursery, taking in every little detail of our little baby's room. He or she is gonna love it just as much as I do, just the fact that Harry made it, makes it even more amazing. It makes me love this room even more.

I heard the door opening and Harry's footsteps echoing around the house, he was probably searching for me but not too long, I felt his hands wrap around me.

"So, baby.. I have something to tell you, and before you say anything, I already promised to go. because it's the last time" Harry spoke and I turned around in his embrace, staring at his eyes curiously, waiting for him to continue.

"There's this annual Christmas party at my old frat house, and the boys want me there, because it's our last one together. I promised to go because I haven't seen them in a while, and I can promise you that I won't be drinking, I'll drive home safely in the night. Is it okay, love?"

I didn't like the idea of him going to a party without me, but I won't be going with our baby inside of me so I just have to trust him. "Yes, it's okay if you don't drink"

A wide smile spread on his lips and he placed kisses all over my face, causing me to giggle.

"Thank you Jen, I owe you big time"

"Yeah, you do" I smirked and he winked at me, lifting me on his arms and carrying me in bridal style to our bedroom,

"Well, maybe I should start making it up to you right now" he whispered huskily and laid me down on the bed.

Well that was an idea that I loved.

{okay a million apologies won't make up this break that i had, and i'm not even gonna bore you with answers why i didn't update, let's just say that because of many reasons, i didn't have time.

and i know, even though it's summer holiday, i still don't have much time. :-( my summerjob begins in a week, and i'm hanging out with my friends as much as i can and then there's this boy who i like and we have a lot going on.

so even if this update was short, it still means that i love you guys and no, i haven't forgotten you, absolutely not. and the story of henna/jarry, whatever you like, is not over, because there's a lot coming up!
