Chapter 20
"Lilly! Lilly, I'm so sorry!" Carter said as I cried on the floor. "Well, have fun you two, I'm glad this happened." Charlotte said, mostly happy, but partially sarcastic, then walked away. "Lilly, please, say something!" Carter yelled at me. I stood up, and calmly said "My parents hate me." Then I ran.
I went as far and as fast as I could. I went to the edge of the school property, and then I ran further. I ran to the beach across the road and sat down. "Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I got up and ran to the big rock cliff at the edge of the beach, then I climbed it. Step by step I climbed to the top of the 40 foot cliff. Once I got there, I stood at the edge of the cliff. I looked over at the water. "My parents hate me." I quietly said. "I opened my arms and whispered to the wind, "If I live, let me find a better life, and if I die, let it happen fast." And with that, I closed my eyes, and fell.
