Connor's POV
My phone woke me up. 6:00 am is way too early to get up. I groaned loudly and kissed Kasie awake.
"Well, that's one way to wake up," Kasie said, waking up and rubbing her eyes. She sat up and got out of the bed. We packed yesterday so all we needed was to pack some last minute things. Kasie grabbed her One Direction shirt, some jeans, her Sperrys and her blue and white polka dotted hair bow and went into the connected bathroom to change. I finally got up and changed into a t-shirt and jeans. I styled my hair but ended up putting on my black beanie that said 'Franta' on it in white lettering.
We packed some last minute things before loading our suitcases in the back of Kasie's car and driving to the airport.
"Babe, will you plug in my phone?" Kasie asked.
"Sure," I plugged her phone into her car so that the music on it would play.
"Any specific playlist?" I asked, pulling up her music.
"Country?" She asked. I shrugged as if to say 'I don't care'.
"Okay," I tapped the playlist labeled 'Country' and tapped the first song on the playlist. The music filled the car.
"Oooh, I love this song," Kasie squealed. She began to sing the words to the song.
She left without leaving a number
Said she needed to clear her mind
He figured she'd gone back to Austin
'Cause she talked about it all the time
It was almost a year
Before she called him up
Three rings and an answering machine
Is what she got
If you're callin' 'bout the car
I sold it
If this is Tuesday night
I'm bowling
If you've got something to sell
You're wastin' your time
Cause I ain't buyin'
If it's anybody else
Wait for the tone
You know what to do
And P.S.
If this is Austin
I still love you
The telephone fell to the counter
She heard
But she couldn't believe
What kind of man
Would hang on that long
What kind of love that must be
She waited three days
And then she tried again
She didn't know what she'd say
But she heard three rings and then...
If it's Friday night
I'm at the ballgame
